Plenty of the situations where their body language and physical contact (jokes counting) show their affection for each other. Like him patting her shoulder. He (even more than she) always was drawn to her, subconsciously - right away from the very beginning (5×05), so it's always there - he likes to touch her, and it's always very pure and at times even a bit childish.
Just binge watched it for the first time and loved it) Really a treasure, a gem, a wonderful tale of love - all the way through all the 151 episodes. Never thought I'd say this about a crime series))))
And people would say them ending up together didn't make sense haha. I had it clocked almost immediately. The depth of their respect, affection, understanding, and trust for one another was so potent and enormous. It's all the smallest of things they do, the looks, the choices of words... Both apart and together, especially thanks to both Robin's and Simon's performances, made these two easily a top duo + couple in any show I've watched.

Jane and Lisbon had one of the best slow burn romances. From friendship/partnership to something more as they grew closer, evolved as people, and learns to trust and rely on each other. The banter and chemistry were also excellent thanks to the writing and the real-life friendship and respect Tunney and Baker had. Favorites are 0:07, 0:29, 1:15, 1:40, 1:59, 2:03, 2:13, 2:34, 2:43, 3:02, 3:15, 3:23, 3:31, 3:37, 3:57, 4:34, 4:57, 5:37 to 5:40, 7:41, 8:44, 8:50, 8:55, and 9:12.
You think you've got the record? It's 2023, I watch it every day and night on TV and on my phone! I've almost memorized the whole show! WHY can't they do a 2.0 return? Let Simon direct it. I do have a few things I would add on the end. I know everyone has moved on .but so many shows from the past have been doing a reboot , nothing better than our beloved Mentalist! The viewership never would have gone down, if we didn't have to look for it every week! I have an even better ending if a writer is serious about an addition to this great story, I have it!
They both use the same acute observation skills, but diverge from there. Jane wouldn't be able to identify serial killers with the extrapolation method the BAU uses. He'd need to find the suspects and then _draw_ a confession out of them. He's more hands on than the others. But in terms of 'confidence game' skills? Jane outshines them far more. Also, I'm 90% sure Hotch would shoot Jane himself to keep him in line. 😂💖
