Not sure if you have replaced yet or your area.. I have a friend in Oregon that owns a Audio shop and would help you out! Replaced mine a few months ago! Let me know..
I have just purchased this accessory after watching your videos. I’m confused on the Dip Switch settings. Any chance you can help me? (2011 FJ Cruiser)
I have the kenwood dmx-4707s. The E-brake wire comes off the unit seperate from the actual wire harness. I'm gonna try to ground it and hopefully that works
Thanks for the video. I’m installing a pioneer head unit with same adapter harness. Is it fine to connect the orange/white dimmer wire on the pioneer harness to the solid orange illumination wire on the crux harness? Thank you!
I am going to purchase all of these parts and give it a shot. Only area that I did not quite get was the rca part. I also would do a bluetooth mic.... I want to go hands free to my fj...
Yes..but only a little.. You can put spacers behind the top screws and or modify the bottom of the bracket...but at a certain point the radio will touch things you shouldn't/can't modify... When done it may fit a bit weird in the hole...most cars the effort isn't worth it
My JVC touchscreen stop working. The screen turns on and off , won't play anything. Now I know how to take off the brackets without breaking anything and find the short
factory sub pulls signal from the rear channels of the radio, so as long as you keep those rear channels connected, factory sub will continue to function the same.
Any chance you have an email address I could get some questions answered at? I’m just trying to install a Sony double din I have a steering controll harness but no dip switch box. Also parking break wire possibles on my unit? Anyway I would be happy to hear from you.
Parts linked in the description of the video!
great vids. Looking to upgrade my stock stereo unit on my fj cruiser and these vids have been of great help.
Wow, if I could find someone that was this knowledgeable I’d buy a new radio for my fj...

Just use a complete installation kit from brands like Aerpro. No soldering needed. All plugs. Even a moron could work them out
@@lunchie80 do you have a link for aerpro kits ?

Where do you wire in to do the AUX? You don’t show it in the video.
Is the factory subwoofer still connected and able to use with the on/off switch on the lower panel?
Yes!
pretty cool, any recommendations for a bluetooth mic installation?

have you been able to do it? and if how is it
Does the factory subwoofer work with this install?
Great video! Thank you. I was wondering the same thing about the factory sub woofer. Is it connected and can it still be turned on and off?
Yep!
@@ProvoBeastAudiodoes it just get its signal via the high levels you sent back from the amp?
I just bought a harness but it just has 2 plugs socket instead of 3 like yours, what does it mean?
Can the angle of the aftermarket double din be adjusted? Drives me nuts
Me Too!!
Yes..but only a little..

Unfortunately, Crux doesn't make a loom for a 2012 -2014 radio without JBL.
Hi, thank you for this video. Where can pay like this part you instead?
Thank you again
Sure thing, all parts are linked in the description of the video!
is that a standard double din?
Nothing special to get the factory sub to still work? Is the wiring just apart of the regular wiring? Thanks

@@ProvoBeastAudio very nice and sweet. Thank you very much
Are you in Provo Utah area dude?
Does this work even if the radio holds 6 discs?
Can’t find the list of items to order? Said it would be in comments.
List of parts in description, not comments.
