I have the kenwood dmx-4707s. The E-brake wire comes off the unit seperate from the actual wire harness. I'm gonna try to ground it and hopefully that works
I am going to purchase all of these parts and give it a shot. Only area that I did not quite get was the rca part. I also would do a bluetooth mic.... I want to go hands free to my fj...
Thanks for the video. I’m installing a pioneer head unit with same adapter harness. Is it fine to connect the orange/white dimmer wire on the pioneer harness to the solid orange illumination wire on the crux harness? Thank you!
My JVC touchscreen stop working. The screen turns on and off , won't play anything. Now I know how to take off the brackets without breaking anything and find the short
Yes..but only a little.. You can put spacers behind the top screws and or modify the bottom of the bracket...but at a certain point the radio will touch things you shouldn't/can't modify... When done it may fit a bit weird in the hole...most cars the effort isn't worth it
factory sub pulls signal from the rear channels of the radio, so as long as you keep those rear channels connected, factory sub will continue to function the same.
Any chance you have an email address I could get some questions answered at? I’m just trying to install a Sony double din I have a steering controll harness but no dip switch box. Also parking break wire possibles on my unit? Anyway I would be happy to hear from you.

Just use a complete installation kit from brands like Aerpro. No soldering needed. All plugs. Even a moron could work them out

Unfortunately, Crux doesn't make a loom for a 2012 -2014 radio without JBL.
I just bought a harness but it just has 2 plugs socket instead of 3 like yours, what does it mean?

Yep, which is why we used the Crux harness used in the video. It retains all those functions.
