The Sung twins couldn't stop smiling even when they lost a point. Sport should be all about enjoyment of the game and they are epitomising this spirit.
Well, this is just a fun game with nothing on the line. So there's really no tension. Tournament's are a whole different matter though, let's be real here.
So much fun to watch! And that‘s what talent is all about: Adapting quickly to the challenge! Taking the ball very early seems to be a good tactic against adams incredible defensive skills 😉! Cheers from Switzerland
They were each more confident in their strokes when playing together. Also their footwork was bouncy and constant. That was awesome to see! Thank you for the great content as always :)
Many years ago I played a guy pretty often who used a shot similar to Adam's snake. At first it was effective but once you got used to the way it bounced it was just an easy smash setup. His real strength is his accurate defensive returns but they leave him vulnerable to short drops and direction changes. The snake seems to me to be more of a party trick. Opinion, for what it's worth.
having two people change up the pace constantly, one person can easily do a powerful shot while the other just taps it, also having one person right handed and the other left just seems so OP. even with all Adam's tricks you can't beat two master doubles players.
that was a really fun video with everyone enjoying it. Great to see some doubles since I really suck at it and was interested to see the Sisters play and being so efficient with their movements. I usually steer way too far from the table to allow my co-player to do his shots and then I end up running everywhere wayyy too much really great rallies from Adam too 🙂
I sucked at double too. But I have long suspected that for players who know what they are doing, a double team is better than a single player since each player have more time to get in position and set up the next shot. The twins seems to confirm my hunch since they can't beat Adam in singles but were able to win easily as double.
These ladies kick butt. You are a really gifted player yourself. You always put yourself up against the best. And you put up a hell of a good fight as always
This Saturday i played in an Sweden Tour competition. Watching this reminds me that you need to have an incredible bond when playing doubles. Sidenote: My mom said she almost got a heartattack bc I had 2 sets (?) and later won with 3-2
The embarrassed smiles when being bitten by the snakes was just gorgeous. Great to see such an attitude when being outplayed. Signalling to the other personality was somewhat golden.
I started watching your videos like, 5-8 videos ago and you were at 997k. You just hit 1M, in about 20 minutes i've watched you've gained 3k subs. Enjoy the growth your channel is great!
Adam couldn't capitalize on his huge advantage of playing against 2 because his shots, while tricky, are very long and slow, giving the opponents plenty of time to position themselves, especially with a left-right combination. I usually have a great time jamming up the doubles team with my placements. 😁
@@billko867 hitting each return right back to whoever hit it last seems like it'd be the best way to get them crashing into each other 😉 It's just opposite the usual goal in singles to try hitting it away from them, so it goes against normal reaction.
@@dubmob151 It happened a few times, but I think that there were way more times when Adam would've had a single player running for their lives back and forth, but instead it was just a routine play because the next player up was in the middle of the field. I've played doubles before and it's pretty easy to keep out of each other's way.
@@billko867 This is true for Xu Xin who, in Doubles, can more often deploy his all out killer smash which gets him off balance and out of position, because, in case his shot didn't finish off the opponents, he has time to get himself back into the game. But generally, a fast player with clever ball placements can easily control the game against two players who have to do a lot of rushing around.
@@syzygy6769 I didn't read that you have actually done this. I don't know what caliber doubles teams you were playing, so I can't comment on that. I still maintain that the single player has a disadvantage, not an advantage, when playing a doubles team of the same caliber. Remember, he beat them each individually.
It's like he's in a video game and in order to reach the final level, he has to play every table tennis gym master in the world; from the beaches of LA to the mountains of Vietnam.
I think I know the strategy to beat Adam. 1) Don't let him hit a snake (hit it long or really short), and 2) try to take his lobs on the short hop, which gives you a better angle and him less time to react.
It was easier for them just because of your defensive style of playing. If you would have switched on your attacking mode, it would have been really difficult for them. Anyways, great video to watch.
Adam,,really nice game but Plz teach us more tricks.... How to snake perfectly and how to serve crazy and how to spin properly and how to return serves
Not an expert in this game but I had doubts from the beginning when Adam said he think he might had an advantage because the sisters had to alternate their shots, and I think the result has proven that it wasn’t the case. They were so cohesive and a couple of times when Adam play a counter smash the other sister was already in position to push a fast ball back. Again, sorry if I’m wrong, I hardly play the game! 😅
I’ve got an exciting video coming up next. Any ideas what it is? 8>)
playing with world no1?
Teaching something new
Pong against the pickleball nation?
Maybe a tutorial video?
Playing a best of 7 match against Ma Long with no advantage?
The Sung twins couldn't stop smiling even when they lost a point. Sport should be all about enjoyment of the game and they are epitomising this spirit.
When playing for fun, yea. When playing for money its different.
Well, this is just a fun game with nothing on the line. So there's really no tension. Tournament's are a whole different matter though, let's be real here.
@@rooky3526 exactly. Can rly feel the joy in the air. I love it
I would be smiling too but not from enjoyment mostly because awkwardness in front of camera
Who the hell uses the word epitomizing
They both are winners and never loose those beautiful smiles. There's a lot to learn from the twins!

Yeah that was honestly amazing. When I play doubles I lose all confident in my strokes and become super inconsistent.
never seen people so happy to play table tennis they were smile the entire time so genuine made my day

CONGRATS ON THE 1 MILLION, thank you for bringing smiles to my face with your videos Adam. Cheers
The sisters are great learner, they played most of the snakes successfully in this video 👍🏽

@@dennisdose5697 Yes agree draw him away from the table then a short push drop shot to follow.
@@johnjackson3847 I think if you spread your smashes out tactically he done for also. That said, Adam is certainly a better player than I ever was 😏.
Hey Adam loved the video , also it feels great to be enjoying world team championships with your commentary 😊
1 million! congrats :) table tennis is amazing and so are you for promoting it so much
2:15 hurts me like it hurts you. And WOW the second set !! Thank you for you work Adam.

Agree with Vikrant below: the jamming effect disappears when there's time to switch and then the doubles have the edge over the single.
Adam your anchoring in iitf is just amazing keep going bro.....wish to see more
In the repeats you can see, that one or even both twins are smiling, whilst playing. I love that fact.
Love the video so much! Thank you. amazing twin sisters, sweet smiles all the time.

Actually, it's a huge advantage alternating shots because you have time to recover and are almost never out of position for the incoming shot.
