I’m glad you were reunited. Indoors is smart. Adore cats. Live three times longer. They just need more stimulation. i.e. toys, play, friends, disco ball. It’s easy to MacGyver a disco ball for your cat.
I moved to near Las Vegas with my cat too, also made her a collar (I've found my tribe!!!) and I put a tracking disc on her collar, so I could track her movements and collect her when she was going too far. Pretty soon, she didn't wander too far away anymore. Also I had her "chipped" and we've lived here since 2017. My story doesn't have the happy ending that yours did as my poor Lilycat was killed by a coyote in our back yard. She went missing, and the next day I got a text from animal control that she'd been found using her chip, but she was dead, and I am still heartbroken. I was so happy you found your Mochi in good health and home again! It made me feel so good
This was so heartbreaking to read 😢 I am so sorry for your loss, I can’t even imagine. Since this experience I get much more emotional about pets dying, shelter pets, strays and especially pets killed in the street. I am so sorry ❤️🩹
Hi! Beautiful and elegant! For safety reasons, cat collar need a rubber band, so that the cat can be released (slip out of collar) in case it gets caught somewhere. So happy that he found his way to come back at home. Lucky guy

All the years and mega amounts of stuff in order to do it my self, but it is the feeling of gratification afterward that is the best. I just got suggested your channel on the 'thrift natural fabrics' video, and all now am binging all your videos. You're a knife person! That made me so happy. I'm currently rocking an MBK WPK custom. It's so dang useful. For this being your first video, it's amazing, no kidding. You're interesting, entertaining, Mochi is adorable, and I really appreciate how you show using what you have. I look forward to where you go in the future! I'm so so so glad Mochi made it home. After a scare like that with our car, Fafhrd, we built a catio, and got him a harness. He told us it wasn't quite as much fun, but he liked being out with us, especially when we were gardening.

New subscriber. I came from your thrifting natural fabrics video, which came up as a suggestion for me ☺️ beautiful necklace. So glad your cat returned ❤ how long did it take until he came back? My own indoor cat has been missing for almost four days now, even though I have a feeling she is close and hiding somewhere (she is very skittish and can hide for hours if she feels unsafe like when we have visitors, so I doubt she has gone far). We haven’t found her yet and she hasn’t shown up on our camera by the food we keep outside. I hope she will be brave enough to come back. I have filled another food bowl closer to the neighbours’ yard where I think she is, that food has been eaten but it’s too far away to show up on camera. There are many neighbour cats around so they show up eating the food by our house on the camera, but not her yet.
Welcome to the channel! Hopefully your cat has returned by now, but I wanted to say what really helped me was setting up a “scent station”. I put out an old shirt that hadn’t been washed (for my scent), some hot turkey, and his litter box. When I watched the video, he came right up sniffing all these things, so I really think this helped lead him home. This was a suggestion I got from a Missing Pets Facebook group. I hope she returns soon!! 🐱✨

Mochi tested the collar by vanishing:) She-he also need color analysis and I think silver is better for the metal of collar:)

Yeah, stress will cause shedding. I had one cat who would only walk on a custom leather 8 harness, but then he learned to heel. Catio?
