I made a CUSTOM leather collar for my cat . . . then he ran away
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
I decided to dive into the world of leather-working and make a custom collar for my cat. Things didn't go quite as I expected . . . 0:00 backstory 1:04 intro 2:03 the design 2:42 list of materials 4:38 making the collar 19:07 reveal
I think you were spot on for you colors except 1. I think winter bright is better on you! You skin glows with it! I don’t think you should give the earrings back if they were a gift!
Cool video! Thinking about doing this! Did you use a mirror or a viewfinder? I noticed some youtube channels say colours aren't always accurate in viewfinders. I wonder if it negatively effects the results or makes it more easy to tell how colours look with your skin tone
Just love it.❤
I’m gonna try this! Thanks for this excellent video!
OK, at my very first look at you...I think Snow White! With the very dark hair and fair skin... So I'm saying TRUE WINTER...but we'll see!
OK after watching the whole video...I agree with your color analysis!
Yay! Amazing :)
Make the rounding at the top of your sleeve pattern less steep and narrow but instead flatter, less high and bit wider. Cut the rounding at the armpit ( of the garment) a bit more inward: note that this is always a little more in the front panel than the back panel. That will improve your fit.
I always thought I was a true Autumn, I also typically loved the colours of autumn. The veins of my underarm appear more green. However, my undertone according to your example that I tried to follow with fabrics and clothing, indicates more a cool undertone. I'm not through the whole analysis yet.
This video is fantastic! Your preparation, editing, and explanations are so appreciated. I’m studying this video!!!
Best breakdown I've seen. TY! I'm also an artist and art school grad. I get the color bias. I'm totally going to do this. I am Mexican American and Native Chicasaw, so I suspect I'm on the opposite side of the color /season wheel than you.
Beautiful upcycle! Thanks for sharing your talent. And the gorgeous phofrom your trip.
You've done a great job explaining. Thank you
Love it! 😍
I think this is one of the best colour analysis videos i have seen, i overall think you are summer cool but winter cool equally nice
Hey, I accidentally stumbled upon your channel through that color analysis video. I just wanna say there is something very congenial about you, this energy of childlike goodness mixed with intelligence and capability, all that is definitely shining through in your videos. Keep up the lovely work and I wish you all the best in 2025! Cheers from Croatia!
Not sure you are accurate
This has been the best color analysis video I've watched to date and I've watched way more than is sane. You did a University level amazing job. Thank you.
Such a fun video! I do a lot of thrifting and often look for fabric. I do the same as you: only buy cotton, linen, silk snd wool. I don’t touch the fabric though I generally will just eyeball it and look at the sheen and the weave.
Right off the bat I think youre a summer😂
Hi, I know I am late to the party, but I am really enjoying this video! Thank you so much! I have a question about warm and cool colors. I understand that most colors have warm and cool versions depending on where they are "moving towards" on the color wheel. And I also understand that orange is always warm because the shades of all colors are warmer when they are closer to orange. However there should be an antipode to this right? Is it tuqroise or teal? Is it always cool? Because a cool green leans blue but a cool blue leans green?
Indigo or navy/blue-black is her black.
The level of energy this video took is amazing. Thank you so much. I have watched sooooo many videos and this is the 1st time I undearstood
Really CANT STAND the Nintendo MUZAK
I went to my local thrift store. I went through everything. I didn't find a single piece of linen. 😞
great video! but i also caccckled at the sad trombone. such a funny, random edit on a very informative video.
I agree with your self-analysis. I think I’m equally light-soft-cool since none of the sister seasons looks good on me, but I’m going to try your paint swatch method using my PPG paint swatches.
I hope you sell the earrings and get yourself some you like even better ❤ Gifts are not conditional and he sounds selfish af.
Great job, and I love the paint swatch idea! I’m working on a customized palette for me since I have characteristics of 3 of the 16 subseasons, though on the warm side rather than cool.
this was so fun to watch
I was dying from heat in my garden so I ordered a bundle of the cheapest 100% linen JJill pants from poshmark ($48 for 3 pairs, barely used). And now I'm an addict for natural fibers! I'm obsessed! I can't believe we have gone so far from the superior, natural advantages of these fabrics. I literally cannot get enough. I have a silk pillowcase and cotton sheets, cashmere sweaters, alpaca and I'm just finding out about merino wool.
Omg that’s so cute and turned out great
Great video and idea of table cloth for fabric
What does "wow" mean? I have no idea what you are looking for. What change do you see between the two choices?
Thank you! I have also been obsessed with these videos and I’ve so been wanting to try this but can’t justify the cost. I immediately thought and saw that you were cool 😎 PS You can still wear the jewelry you want, just focus on the clothing and makeup colors.
Thanks for this, will be helpful to find some thrifted fabric for my stitching. Linen is pretty expensive in Australia :)
What about neutral undertone people? That's tricky... BTW this is a brilliant video :)
Touch- Sommeliers for Natural Fibers I hunt for wool and silk. I used to waste a lot of time searching for and reading tags. I developed a much more rudimentary feel system than you explained so it was good to sharpen up my techniques with your video That also looked like my old thrift store in The Springs. I found a 100% Italian silk shirt for $9 - I too might’ve sung out a little in the store. Silk does have that “crepe-like look” and smooth yet ever-so-slight crispy feel 👌
Just discovered your chanel like... 2 hours ago? And I've watched all the content, I LOVE IT! Best whishes from Spain <3
I actually went into Home Depot and did this, or as many samples as I could find, and don’t feel bad about that at all because I’ve been painting all summer and have spent literally hundreds of dollars there in paint. Anyway what I found as an olive skinned, silver haired person is that peach wasn’t great, pink wasn’t great, but the in between what I take to be neutral colors work out fine. That was my take away from this exercise, really being able to spot the neutrals. Also, I don’t know if it’s the same layout at all Home Depot’s, but five rows down from the top is the value that’s perfect for me. I can wear pretty much anything in that row because it’s just dark enough but not overwhelming.
wow. you explain that so good... thank you 🙂🥰
I am hoping that you would please turn down the not-so-background music. Please 🙏 I don’t mind background music but the volume of the music and your voice is the same level for me. I do have hearing issues in the human-speaking-frequencies so I don’t think it’s a common issues but, if it’s all the same for you and others, for me it would be a HUGE difference if the music is more of a softer background volume. I absolutely love your content but I’m exhausted (and very stressed) trying to filter out all that well, noise. Sadly it does not register as pleasant music anymore. I will be checking new videos because again, I absolutely love your content but don’t feel obliged to alter your videos just for my sake. I have no doubt you will get heaps of followers regardless whether I can end up enjoying your videos. Though I’m hoping to stay of course 😇 Edit: so pleased there were at least enough “good” parts (for my hearing, nerves and all, on all other categories everything was def. Good) to watch this completely. Beautiful dress and color!
I am so confused. I'm around minute 15 where she asked if we can see if she was warm or cool. And then she said she is obviously cool and me was like 'wait what, I was going to say obviously warm'. I really hope my monitor is the reason for this because to me she looks very sickly in cool, like hospital sick.
Very helpful, thank you 😊
Having watched a lot of these color analysis videos, some people coolness vs. warmness is the predominant factor, while for others intensity is the predominant factor. I think for you coolness is the predominant factor. Love both the winter cool and the summer cool. 😎
You lost me at “cool blue leans toward the green side and warm blue leans purple.” This is false. Cool blue is void of yellow and warm blue has some yellow (which would make it more green). Blue that leans purple is…purple…this would be blue plus red which is still void of yellow and thus cooler than blue that leans green. What makes a color warm or cool is the amount of yellow in it.
From the Color Me Beautiful or Beauty for All Seasons systems (I don't remember which) your three no-fail options match your skin, hair, and eye colors.
Really good info, but the "robot music: in the background during the color theory part was distracting (and I started feeling really anxious listening to it). Not posting this to be a tool, but just keep it in mind for future iterations because your videos are worth watching! And when it comes to returning the earrings, melt those bad boys down and sell the gold, or send it back in a melted lump. The fact that the jerk wants 'em back just shows what a loser he is. Just my two cents.
Coud you maybe make a ideo on future giving tips on how to build a mindful wardrobe? i am just starting with this thrift and natural fiber shop and I like the idea you wrote of creating a wardrobe with clothes that are meaningful for you. I wana do that too but have to start from scratch xx
I just found your channel, thanks youtube for the recommendtion and I wanna start thrift shopping and recycle my clothes and making magic things like you do on your videos, I have no sew skills but we gonna try and i love your work here!
The brighter color green was best.
