    Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

    that's why I was having to go over my windshield twice to get a good layer of the dryer sheet film onto the glass; I was wetting the dryer sheet real well, but I failed to wet the windshield! I believe this is super important!

    Brown jersey gloves instead of the hard card...pushing the film down...less chance of creasing the film...for beginners...u can handle the heat too...n use your fingers and palm to push the film down...and divide the film fingers as you form the film to the window...
    Work for me since the 90's...when we used chizles and rocks to hammer the film on...

    Just got my lexan tint in , regular tint and not ceramic. Is it much harder to shrink ? Haven't Had success tinting the top part of the windshield glass , I can get the lower half but top corners always bunch and i get creases. So frustrating throwing tint away

    How many volts should heat gun be to be considered a good heat gun? Love your videos!

    • @emilior.5677
      @emilior.5677 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Volts are the same for every gun. They probably have a max of 220v .
      The important thing is that it has enough heat.

    Hello, i have question about tinting the back window.. what will happen for the defrost line after removing the tint??

    • @liliencalvel6151
      @liliencalvel6151 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Defrost lines will be fine as long as you clean the inside with a non scratch scrub pad before applying the film. When the tint needs to be removed and if new film is reapplied, remove the old film with a steam gun and your defrost lines will not get damaged

    Ceramic only shrinks up and down.fingers up and down are shrinking with a heat gun effortless.

    I heard that using dryer sheets can lead to cancer.
    Are you familiar with that claim and is that why you use that brand

  • @MrGonzales1982

    If it ain't broke why fix it. Just shrink it the way you always have.
