My biggest killstreak tip, don't get too greedy. Nearly every time you get greedy for kills and stop playing smart you lose a massive chunk of health or die
@@vandorpemichael have you actually played both variants? Because if you haven't then you can't judge, I play both and they're just as good as each other
@@shaeandreason2145 I run to the objective then get shot with out seeing where the shot comes from it’s annoying especially if you got lost and took a wile to get to the object
I was playing as Darth maul today. Believe it or not, I actually got a kill with his saber throw. I know, it's unbelievable. That thing is so glitchy, I don't know why I don't just stop using it.
I think you should use lightsaber defence instead of the force choke card because it is much more helpful. Also, I find that the best way to use the choke is to use it to finish off damaged rolling troopers.
We'll have to learn from each other then man, I point these mistakes out and am very aware of them, and then the following match I'll repeat them 3 times 😂
Love the vids man, just picked up this game a week ago and am in need of some training after not playing the first battlefront in over a year, awesome content
A good tip for playing ANY hero is to not only get a feel of the enemy heroes on the field but to also know how your other hero is playing. If the other hero on your team is playing very well, they'll most likely be able to push one objective with ease. But if you notice that they're struggling you should take the initiative to try and back them up as best as you can(that doesnt mean to follow them like a dog but to make sure no stragglers can sneak up on them as well as making enemy heroes who are challenging them second guess themselves and hopefully fall back which can create an opening for BOTH of you to make a monster push)
I think this will be a really good series. I haven't seen someone do this before although I am not suggesting I have seen everyone's channel that is posting SWBF2 content. You did a little of this but I think it is good to intermittently mention how you are playing a situation specific to the hero and how a different hero you would play the situation differently. Not like you have to go through every hero alternative but maybe when it is really obvious explain the contrast. I think new players do a little too much of playing every saber hero the same and every blaster hero the same and that is how they get caught in streak ending mistakes. The other top reasons for failure include poor timing for being aggressive and doing dumb things like running down a trooper from a long distance that is looking right at you and shooting at you. Also, some players also can't help themselves when they see a opponent hero; they feel like they must engage. Last thing to say... your choices do depend on your goal. If you are going for killstreaks it can be a little different than clearing out objective zones. Often they coincide but not always.
I actually really love this video. I learned a lot about killstreaks in general which I think has always been my weak point (clones love weak points) in Battlefront II. It's hearing how to really make decisions that I think is honestly more important than just good cards and knowledge about heroes. I would love a continuation of the series. Gonna hop into GA now to test my metal.
A personal tip I recommend is to destroy any turrets you see placed when your a hero. Many people avoid em, but they help me and my team push up towards the objectives a lot easier.
I make the same mistakes constantly and my highest kill streak with Maul is 67 in Capital Supremacy. I found this really informative, it's good to know I'm not the only one who is guilty of getting locked in to things haha.
I've been getting decent killstreaks of 30-40 per life as Dooku thanks to your advice! I do feel like he's a bit underpowered but if used strategically he just slays
Great advice! If I've any constructive criticism the video seemed a tad bit too dark. Commentary was good, following up on your recorded gameplay helps a ton as well. Keep it up, there aren't many people doing BF2 Tips on TH-cam!
Great video, I submitted a Yoda killstreak and can also submit one for Palpatine, watching killstreak videos are the best ways to learn how to do killstreaks yourself
Thanks for the video. It's always a shame when you get to play the hero in a match, and just get cut down early on when someone else could have done the job better. I also agree with the mentally aspect and keeping it cautious. Again thanks for the video!
My favorite maul combo is most effective in a hallway full of enemies. Now that he throws his saber horizontally, my go to combo for hallways is a lightsaber throw followed by a dash attack. The throw will take out almost if not all of their health and any boosted player with extra health will be reduced to less than 100hp, which a spin attack will easily take out. Try this out for yourselves guys and lemme know how it goes : )
Some of the situations you survived in this are insane lol. Also just recently managed a 70 killstreak with Maul on Kashykk. The vid really helped man! Thanks for the tips
Also a tip; if youre on an enemy, only press 2 times attack and dash After it Because if you spam attack Button you cant move. And 1 second fire on you (or not) can be the difference between alive and dead
Wow what the hell I only just noticed that, I have no idea... The kill on Yoda earlier in the match only gave 20HP instead of 100 as well, maybe there's a glitch or something? Good spot man, I'll have to try and see if I can find anything similar in my other streaks 👌
As far as I know it is a glitch. Basically you get 100 health from a normal trooper and 20 from a hero. Happens quiet often actually but most of the time you don't realize it. I think it is pretty random though, or atleast I haven't seen any special circumstances you need to be in to get the glitch
@@straydog1090 but I take it it's not every kill, just random kills? Can't say I've ever seen it, but I do recall people talking about something like that a few months ago so that could be it? Beats me man hahah
Passive health on kill will be SO useful if they decide to add it. I hate having to use that slot on all of my heroes in place of something more offensive, but the HoK cards really are a necessity.
Great video Sammy! I lose my head so easily, and it's stopped me going for heroes. I play too defensively also, take too long making decisions. So I don't really have the confidence as I'm all about the objective and hate letting the team down! 😂 Looking forward to more of these videos!

Yep, I watched this TH-camr who uploaded tons of killstreak videos and I tried but I was to greedy and went for kills and died early
The slowmo at 10:06 really highlights how well made maul’s animations are.
Most of the animations are really good tbh, but sadly nobody pays any attention to them.
Everyone complains about ep1 but the cartography on the maul quijohn and obi wan is amazing
yeah but then look at 5:43 where he somehow manages to summon an extra lightsaber from the void with that throw, lol
50 kills= decent
