Thanks for the tutorial. Any led light for the vanity sun visors? I tried to find a video and couldn’t find one. Also tried to pop the light covers off and they seem impossible without damaging them.

Thank you so much for this -- I have a 2006 Toyota Sequoia and the dingy/dim interior lights have always bugged me. I will re-watch your video when my bulbs from Amazon arrive, and this may sound like a dumb question, but how do you know which bulbs take the 194 versus the 173--is it just the size? Sorry if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it. Also, is it normal on a 2006 Sequoia that the map lights do not automatically come on when you open the door versus having to manually press them? Thanks again for this video--can't wait to get my lights switched over! Update April 26: just installed all the lights. What a great upgrade--super pleased with the results. Thanks again!
I belive the t10 is just the socket type for the bulb. I know the bulbs for the front dont come on when you open the door. I think there is a mod you can do. I want to look into it and make that work.
I used your link and ordered the lights for the cargo area and that bulb is too long. It doesn't fit. I did not order the 42 mm. I ordered the 36 mm and it doesn't fit

Just got my Toyota Sequoia last week but can’t figure out how to turn on the light when we open the door and keep them on until the doors are closed. Can anyone help?!😭😩 2004 Toyota Sequoia.
There is a jumper mod that can be done from the back lights to the front to have them come on with the key fob.. I know I have to turn on the map light manually to get all the lights to work
Does anyone have issues with the front lights over the driver and passenger seats being dark at night time? My sequoia doesn’t have any lights coming from overhead in the front seats. Just the little floor lights on either side and the little ones on the door that do nothing. The overhead lights from the back don’t illuminate the front seats. Kinda wish the map lights would come on when you open the doors instead of having to push the button. I always turn the map lights on to see at night when I’m gathering my things and forget to shut it off upon getting out. Anyone know of a solution. I’m gonna replace all my bulbs with led but thinking of going with a warmer 4000k instead of the white 6000k.

There are some people on one of the sequoia groups on Facebook that invented a button conversion for the rear hatch, because the handle and cable method always fails. If you ever need to fix that, could you do a video on that too?
I had painters tape on hand. Worked very well also. Great trick. Thanks for the video

Tried painter tape and duct tape and unfortunately the painters tape never worked so I started using duct tape and it worked much better
Oh man, where was this last week? I was doing the LED conversion and getting those little bulbs out was hell. The tape idea is great.

leds are definitely wayyy better than the stock ones got some for a 02 seqouia and a 12 seqouia and now you can see

Yes you have to buy 2 separate sets of bulbs, each link is in the description.

I have never seen the button conversion yet. Maybe if my handle goes. I will look into it.
Man. I hated changing that, it was such a pain. Now it won’t even lock -_-
I did mine twice, third time I just drilled a hole and pulled the cable out the hole.

Should be straight forward. Remove cover. Remove bulb. Replace with LED. Install cover back on.
