Great video. For your rear window, try holding the rear glass button up for 10-15 seconds. You should hear a click. This will reset the motor and your wiper should work again.
I have had a 2004 SR5 Sequoia since new. A couple of additional problems that I have experienced: 1) fuel gauge quits intermittently. Online comments suggest that it is not easily fixed. I use the trip odometer to keep track of fuel level. 2) Tailgate window tracks rust out. OEM parts are available on ebay from Toyota dealers for about $200. It was an easy replacement that I did in a couple of hours. 3) Lower ball joints in front suspension can fail. I had a shop do the replacement. Don't skip this because it is essential to maintain vehicle control.
When you talk about the door latch and that the previous owner had tape on the door latch it's because the plastic wears off the latch itself so most of us put some kinda rubber on the latch mount to temp fix it. The door will still try to not close all the way, but with a little but of force it shuts perfect with this temp fix.
I replaced the rear latch 3 FREEKING times! On the 4th break I searched TH-cam for a “hack” I found it and bought the pre drilled L bracket and presto changeo, I NECER have to deal with that shit again!
Use white lithium grease on the door latch, I had that same issue and I had to slam the door to close it but once you give it a few shots it’ll loosen up
Just bought one of your TRD grilles for my ‘03 and I’m loving the upgrade! Just curious what speaker you would recommend as a plug and play replacement? I’m looking to do the same
Hey! I stumbled on your channel as I was looking to replace my 2007 Sequoia’s head lamps. After watching some of your improvements, I do have several things I need to do to mine as far as restoration goes. Could I send some photos and get your thoughts?
The suspension in the back of the sequoia is an air bag suspension that can raise and lower to adjust to different towing weights. It doesn’t have a traditional shock in the back.

Thanks for the insight!
I have an 04 with 110k on it and the gas gauge just acted up for the first time the other day.

Look for the all metal replacement. I did mine a few months ago, hopefully for the last time.

Exactly what I did and it worked for me

speakers can be repaired. I did mine a couple years back and they still sound great today. The process is a simple.

hey man, would love to hear about your improvements. I just recently bought a high mileage 2002 and it needs some work, but runs great!
Do you have a link to the driver door latch you purchased? I’ve seen a few online but not many reviews
Mines broken too. I don’t know the specific one to buy.
Where did you find the headlights?
You make Sequoia look like a RAV4.
That's cuz he's sssooooo tall😂 I'd make it look like a bus!
My rear window glass doesn't work
What do you mean by the rear bags??
