This worked the first time I did it, and then, all my other remotes stopped working. And then I reprogram to all the other remotes and now the new one doesn’t work at all.

I had a Craftsman 1/2 HP too, but it did not work. The receiver did not capture the signal from the remote opener (the light did not blink). I even tried with 3 differents remotes (2 Craftsman and 1 LiftMaster). About a year ago, it worked just fine. I can open and close the garage using the remote. Then about 6 months ago, I cannot close the garage door with the remote (OK when open it). Now, neither close nor open, ain't working. The garage lift motor is about 8 years old. Any idea? Thanks for sharing!
Original remotes lost. Adjacent opener in garage remote attempted to be used (3 button remote) main button opens one door and I'm trying to set the second button to open the door I lost the other remotes for. I'm able to reprogram my remote/second button to open n close the door but it disconnects from the keyless entry pad. I reprogram the entry pad and it disconnects from the remote. Both will not connect at the same time.. Any ideas? 1/2 hp craftsman 2001, 139 model
try first clearing all codes at the garage lift motor. you can find the process for that on TH-cam. usually hold the same button that you use for the remote learning till it clears and light goes out. Then follow the learning process for the remotes and the key pad. Clearing all codes first is important.
