It worked, thanks! I have an old 9 pin opener. After pressing the learn button to get the solid blue, I had to press 10 times while flashing blue, keep it flashing, do not hold it to long to make it go solid again.
I have the same opener as your video. Ordered the remote from your link. Hopefully it works. Thanks (I also booked marked your video so I can look at it again on Thursday when remote arrives.

I see others searching social media looking for replacement remotes for 139.655000 Sears Craftsman garage openers. Wire in another Craftsman receiver model Craftsman 9-53751. The range is about 50-75 feet away from antenna. The red wire went to the left post on the opener.
How do you know the codes if you don’t have the previous remote and it’s hilarious because you have the same older remote. I lost in my car when it was totaled in the wreck last week. How can I reset the DIP codes ? Please help
If you don’t have the garage door remote to look at the dip switches, look on the back of the garage door opener and the dip switches will be located there as well. Hopefully this helps.

How do you get to the switches on the motor of an older craftsman? I lost my remote, so I can’t duplicate the codes! Help!
Did someone respond to you...I copied the Dip switches on the unit however the new remote has 12 dips and the garage unit has 9

THanks🐢 I was tired of getting my butt out after freezing rain and cold temperatures and now it's sunny outside but it's still annoying to have to walk over and close and open the garage door every time I leave. I thought I had to deal with this since my garage door opener is so freakin old. Just bought the control hope it works!

On the original remote and garage door opener, just match the dip switches in the same alignment and it should work. Glad I could help.
@@outdoorswithjim207 Thank you for your response! Unfortunately it's not as simple as just matching the dipswitches - I tried that. Makes sense that it doesn't work, because How would one remote operate 3 garage doors? I'll keep digging, but thanks again! You saved me a lot of time and potentially money but buying this amazon remote (even had it here in Canada thankfully). I was able to program both the garage doors with this two button remote.

I'm not sure where to find the dip switch pattern- you configure the new universal remote using the original remote, but I don't have the original. I have purchased the one you linked.
On the new remote, it has only up and down. The older remote three positions. Up, 0 and down. How do you replicate it with only the two positions?
The middle one is just a neutral. Just set all the ones on the garage door opener either up or down.
How do you erase your garage door opener memory?
The negative stay down or up
You can set up any way that you want. But negative is down.
The title should be program craftsman to a universal. I have the old remote and can't seem to reprogram it, and no learn or reset button.

Do you know what to do if the wall console doesn't work neither. The old number doesn't open the door, the battery is good. I don't know the main number
What do you do with the switches when they are set to the middle and not on or off?
Just match the garage door opener with the remote and you can change the switches as long as they match.
