Just got this model off ebay. It travels 6 inches or so, has a bad board or travel module = priceless

If I’m replacing an old opener set up for a 8’ high door, will I still need the optional 8’ high kit?

When I get to the door travel set up I do as the owners manual says:
*I disconnect the “safety reversing sensors”
*I push the adjustment button and it beeps immediately
    *The up button flashes once
*When I then push the up button the light bulb flashes twice and nothing works.
    ANY IDEAS ANYONE???

When I plugged it into the socket and went to do the configuration as shown in the video at 11:30, when I press the adjustment button, the up button is not flashing, up and the low button are flashing, what should I do, it is a motor defect Or is there something I can do?

The step where we are supposed to jam a flat head screwdriver into a slot while turning the nut does not work. When I turn the nut to release the spring, the screwdriver wants to unjam immediately because it's BACKWARDS. Turning he nut should help keep the screwdriver in place, NOT force it loose and cause damage, injury, and stripping from the metal on metal contact.

I had had the same problem so I just held the spring nut with pliers and turned the nut. It popped into place easily.
