Selecting the category when it comes to the Dentist, you mentioned about selecting the profitable category, but in one of your video you mentioned to check what your competitors are taking and consider taking that as a category. But, can we not take the Dental Clinic as a primary category instead of Dentist, cause when we are optimizing our business, should it not be a Dental Clinic and not Dentist?
The key is to focus on the main keyword you want to be found for. For example, if your main target keyword is "dental implant," a search on Google Maps for this term will likely show that the top-ranking businesses have "cosmetic dentist" as their primary category. In this case, you should choose "cosmetic dentist" as your primary category. Similarly, if you want to be found for "dentist near me" and the top-ranking businesses all have "dentist" as their primary category, then "dentist" should be your choice.
@@rankingacademy Thank you answering this. One quick question aligning to this, does this makes sense to make Dr. profile in GMB along with the business profile and does google reward such practice? I have seen a lot of people publishing multiple profiles from the same clinic and clinic listing as well and google is ranking all of them in sequence +/- all of them are listed with the same business address. One thing I understood, we can submit complain via redressal form and report these profile, but does google remove such profiles and who should report this. Dr. themselves or if person handling GMB profile for the Dr. can report on behalf of them. What impacts more and which one is considered faster when reported.
How can you receive Google Reviews then if you don't have a physical address (point 2)? Is it possible?
Yes. People review your business not the location
What solution do you have for a real estate brokerage who has realtors that would like to the same office address? I've had issues in the past with my agents getting verified with the same address.
Hi Tabitha. The best approach for realtors is to use their home address to claim a listing. Using the same address (brokerage office address) and the same category (realtor) will only result in the listings being filtered out, or as you found out, not being able to verify a listing. Each realtor should make sure their home address is not showing on the listing and set the service area in which the operate.
Awesome vid as usual
Many thanks
Indeed thank you
my pleasure

Wait, how can Google know if I am not meeting my customers? Thanks for the video!
It's not always clear cut so you may be able to get away with for months/years but there is always a risk
@@rankingacademy the thing is I have an office, but my clients don't want to drive 1-2hrs just to meet 😂
Home service here.. Had a problem with real reviews getting erased by Google, after much time and fight finally fixed it. But since then what I do is GPS the customers address when driving to them making sure I'm using a Google profile linked to my business account. That way Google maps can see me driving to the same person who later will leave me a review. Since I started doing this I've had no trouble. Disgusting right? But is does work
Hi, luc
Let me know which listing use for taxi services and address r from home there r three listing actually which listing use it come in services
Not sure i understand your question, sorry
What is a safe number of reviews a week
there isn't one. It's all about getting a steady flow
Finding your channel has been the best thing in 2024!
Wow, thanks a lot
Has anyone managed to verify their listing recently, seems like Google makes it impossible for new businesses to list!😢
I am working through a suspended listing. I have watched your other videos on this topic and always find them helpful. I felt like I had tried everything, but yet the listing is still suspended. I was glad to find this video. Good insight into Google's thinking. It is a service area business and the owner had their home address and their hours as 24/7. Once they got suspended they started a 2nd listing. We have removed the second listing and submitted an appeal. Google is now asking us to submit a video of this person working. Thank you for videos.
My pleasure. I hope you get it sorted
What if you just bought a virtual address and you work out of your apartment and you don't want your home address associated with your business...? Since when did Google stop accepting virtual addresses
@@Super29127 google never accepted virtual addresses. You can use your home address when claiming a listing and not display it. Just specify the area you operate in
Great tip about Real Estate Agents using their home address and doing a Service Area Business. Would the same apply to mortgage loan officers? They usually work at the office with other loan officers so its almost the same but a lot of loan officers work from home now after the pandemic. So should we follow the same thing for loan officers?
Hi Florida. Yes, absolutely
Valuable advice. I've seen a Google Business Profile marked as unverified after too many changes, with only a video verification option available. It's better to avoid it.
indeed.
