# Daal chana barfi #

  • Here's a recipe for Chana Daal Barfi ¹:
    Ingredients:
    - lentin gram
    - milk
    - ghee
    - sugar
    - cardamom powder
    - khoya ( option)
    - raisin
    - almonds
    Instructions:
    1. Add lentil gram and milk to a wok, mix and bring to a boil.
    2. Cover and cook on low flame until lentil is tender and milk is reduced.
    3. Transfer to a chopper and grind it.
    4. Add milk and grind to make paste then set aside.
    5. Add ghee to a wok and let it melt.
    6. Add ground lentil mixture, mix well and cook on low flame until color changes.
    7. Mix well continuously and cook on low flame until ghee separates.
    8. Add sugar and mix well, cook on low flame until sugar melts.
    9. Add ghee (if required) and mix well, cook for 2-3 minutes.
    10. Add cardamom powder, coconut powder, mix well and cook on low flame for 7-8 minutes.
    11. Add raisins, almonds, mix well and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes, then set aside.
    12. On a clean surface, place a butter paper or greace with oil,and place a cookie cutter over it.
    13. Add chana daal halwa in cutter and press to set the barfi.
    14. Add almonds over barfi and press it again.
    15. Remove barfi cutter and let it set for 30 minutes, then serve!
