I have an application in a Sun Room that isn’t directly heated or cooled. It doesn’t get direct sunlight because of trees but if we aren’t home and the door leading to the house is shut and can get quite hot on a hot summer day. The same would be true in the winter as well. Would LVP work for this type of application?

Do you need to use underlay if the LVP is being installed over well kept polished terrazzo?

I have a Water Damaged Laminate Floor Boards from kitchen under sink water leak, which has caused all my kitchen counter & island counter kick boards and sideboards are fully bubbled due to water observed from the Laminate Floor Boards. I have fixed the water leak & run the dehumidifier. but do you think there would be mold & mildew built under the Laminate Floor Boards, if I don't remove them and dry it or replace the boards.? The water has soaked for more than 2-3 weeks before we noticed it.

I really want to listen to this information but the music is starting to make me crazy. It is not necessary but is very annoying and distracting.

Someone pls advise me. Hot water heater and ice maker to frig broke. Carpet ruined downstairs. Tile is very expensive. Will a floating vinyl plank floor rated WPC withstand another water incident.??...or will the substrate absorb water and the whole thing have to be torn up again ...just like carpet ??

Great video - would there be any point in keeping a few extra planks in case of accidents (eg I dropped an iron on my old Lino vinyl floor once). Are the vinyl planks easy to replace once they've been laid (probably apart from the glue down)...?

Mistake in saying a vynal is 2 mm and has a 0.6 mm wear layer. Is a .6 mm wear layer!

millimeter is not the same as a Mil. A Mil is about 1/40th a Millimeter. So 40 Mil would be 1 millimeter.

There are no floors with a 20mm wear layer... more like 0.2mm up to 0.55mm...your saying 20mm wear layer... thats thicker than the vinyl itself.... Americans.... learn metric

MR Floor BOSS. If i may, it is absolutely EASY to tell the difference between REAL WOOD and FAKE WOOD flooring. 1. REAL WOOD Flooring: Beautifully natural, no 2 planks are the same. FAKE WOOD Flooring: Planks repeat every 4 to 6 planks, exposing repeated grain and knot features. In areas more than 3' x 4' "Plastic Flooring is 'BUSTED !! 2. Take off our shoes and socks and the REAL WOOD Floor is much more comfortable to walk on AND much safer to fall on !!. 3. The TRUTH is, when there is a "FLOOD", everything get pulled up, thrown away and replaced. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO LIVE ON A PLASTIC FLOOR !!

My engineered wood floors suck. They scratch and mark easily. The actual wood layer is so thin the core material shows through. No real way to refinish or patch them. With kids and dogs I’ll take LVP all day. The new stuff looks and feels very good. Close to zero worries.
