Thank you for recording the registration, and update process. The 1st time I went through it, I had no idea what to do. This will be a great help for those just getting into DJI's FPV system. Other than the onboard recording capability of the Air Unit, I can't tell the difference between it, and the Vista.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me

Ha, I always solder on the cables to my vistas without opening it up. But it's a hustle each time - so I will try it this way the next time. I always admire it when people can solder something so nice and easy ;) greets, Mario
Happy new year, Andrew! The Nebula is shockingly poor sadly, here's hoping we get a top quality smaller camera in the future. You should have the OSD data saved as a subtitle file (.SRT).

@@AndrewNewton it doesn't have spare uart.. has 2 camera I thought could use as a uart? Camera 1 tx camera 2 tx? It only has 2 uarts persay.. crossfire. Gps.. perhaps I'll have to lose GPS?

I dont know, why people using the Vista and Nebula Kits. The Image Quality is soooo horrible bad, live and recorded....compared to the original DJI Air Unit. For that price, of a Vista Kit, spend some more money and buy a DJI Kit.
I have 8 x DJI Airpacks and 2 x Cadex Vista's and the image quality is identical. The only difference is that with the Cadex you can only record goggle view. The advantage with the Cadex it is much smaller making them very suitable for smaller/lighter aircrafts with limited mounting space. It's not about cost!

So i can buy a proper one - and get, for what i paid. nice colors, nice whitebalancing - and very nice image quality - instead of this washed out image quality and colors.

Yes, you can get Mavic Mini for $300 to have boring experience or you can build your fpv wing or quad, set up with electronics of your preference and fly over 100mph if you feel like it or cruise to park 4 miles away just because....

I am using direct battery power, with an added jst plug but Where did you go with the TX and RX wires?
A spare UART, cant recall which one. Then in INAV configurator choose DJI FPV VTX as the peripheral for that UART
the dji product refers to image stabilisation for the recorded footage. Does the caddx version have this feature?

Sorry I might have missed it but how do you get out of "low power mode" on fixed wing (since it needs to "arm" to get out of lowe power mode)?
Without FCB arming you need to disable Auto Temp Control in the Device menu

Camera cable comes in the box. Dupont style Servo extension cables come from HobbyKing or EBAY

@@AndrewNewton do the dji air and caddx vista only work with certain OSD systems? I have a GOSD and Apache that I would love to use too
DJI system doesn't use the OSD chip on the FCB, it creates the display in the goggles using telemetry data

It was a pain for me on the Mini AR. I had to put a switch on it so I could acquire satellites and then power on Vista.
The image from the nebula nano was so bad I voluntarily blinded myself after flying with it

The analog view will never be the same after you fly on dji
I still need both. So it's more like I get a pleasant surprise every time I use DJI

Nebula has the WDR turned up too far. Might be better with some image tweaking

robert brander but you can't go 150mph across a football field with the Mavic Mini.
The mavic is not for people who want to fly but rather for people that want to do some photography. The AR wing is just for flying fun.
