- I have spent a lot of time with the burnout games and Paradise has stood out to me as all the cars do feel different to one another on very noticeable levels. So here is my top 15 cars that I enjoy the most in Burnout Paradise

The "thunder" sound you hear from a burnout with the Überschall 8 is actually a sonic boom, and is a reference to its own name which literally translates to "supersonic" :) Anyways, great video! I wish I could go for the carbon Überschall but nowadays it seems so much harder to land a populated lobby in this game.

For me, one of my favorite cars in the game is the Kitano Togue Sport/Criterion. It can hold a drift like no other and has an 8/10 boost rating (plus really cool engine sound) to pair with its impressive handling

The Manhatten and the Vegas are both really good at just one thing. And that is jump distance. Seriously, they get some serious air time and can jump really far.
Really good at landing that super jump in the airfield. As well as all airfield related online challenges. Great for barrel roll related challenges too (can easily land 2 barrel rolls in places most cars can only land one).
Yes, it's abysmal at flat spinning off ramps xD

my favorite by far is the oval champ, It has a good amount of speed and boost with a lot of strength, so it's a lot of fun. It also has the best engine sounds in the game in my opinion, the straight cut gears sound so nice

14:40 That whistle you're hearing does not come from forced air induction! Even though it sounds like a supercharger, it is actually the sound of the transmission! The car has straight cut gears, which is why it sounds like this. Another example I know of is the bmw m3 gtr from nfs most wanted, which sounds very similar.
Yeah, it's a bad habit of mine to say the forced induction when I know that it isn't. It slips my mind a lot to correct myself. I appreciate your correction of my misinformation
I too am a huge fan of the series, including Revenge (my first love). Personally my favorite is the Carson GT Concept with the Tiger finish. Second choice would be the Jansen P12. Thanks for the great video - see you in Paradise.
My thoughts on the cars:
15: Ah yes, the car most people use in online races. Despite not having the Nighthawk's acceleration, or the WTR's snappy turning, the Extreme Hotrod is almost always the fastest vehicle for any racing event.
14: Even excluding the Nighthawk, the GT's are a fun series of cars to drive. Just really solid. It's even viable in Road Rage events.
13: Cool to drive. Also, the toy version of the 88 special is an absolute beast at taking jumps and barrel rolls (that is, if you can LAND the barrel rolls, which I can't).
12: The Carbon Hydros is a car I've probably slept on. Could be a contender for stunt runs for me (I like cars that jump pretty well and don't slide around after landing a jump). Unfortunately, Showtime roadrules are such a grind :(
11: Fun set of cars for Road Rages. And maybe Marked Man events too (has some agility for the bobbing and weaving playstyle, or even using the brakes to let the opponents fly harmlessly in front of you, where you can tail them for once).
10: Yep, the upgraded Tempesta is crazy xD
8: Very fun to drive. Probably the only Aggression car I'd consider actually racing in. It's good for Road Rages (just watch out for traffic), and a contender for Marked Man.
7: The Hawker is a stunt car purely designed for racing (stunt boost means it can stay off incoming lanes longer and take off road shortcuts without losing as much boost). It's a joy to drive, and is generally great for freeburning in as well. Sadly not that great for actual stuntruns (way too slippery after landing, and doesn't barrelroll as much as I'd like it to).
6: One of the most agile Aggression cars, and can sometimes survive head on collisions. Somewhat struggles to catch upto endgame cars in Roadrage events, but holds it's own when it does catch up.
5: For an Aggression car, the Hotspur has nice acceleration, top speed, and even drifts fairly well (all things most Aggressions cars can't boast about). And it still hits like a truck.
3: Twitchy, very twitchy, for better or worse (ridiculously hard to control while accelerating from a stand still). The Carbon X12 is the fastest and most agile stunt boost car (not counting the Carbon Uberschall which can only be unlocked online).
2: Tap the EBrake while trying to drift, and that will persuade the stubborn 2400 around the corner no problem. A Carbon version of this car with Stunt Boost would have been really neat (but alas).
Runner Up: I really wanted to love the Duststorm, and make that the car I always defaulted to when online freeburning. And yes it's pretty fast and very fun to drive, and jumps pretty well, and flatspins VERY well. But it loses control after landing tricky jumps, and is WAY TOO good at barrelrolls (too good in fact you'll never actually land them). If you can master it's impossible to land barrelrolls, you've got a monster for stunt runs. Sometimes it can produce barrelrolls in places most other cars wouldn't even dream about.
Runner Up 2: The Fastback is like a early game GT Concept with Speed boost instead.
Runner Up 3: The Hunter Civillian is my top pick for Marked Man events. It's just agile enough where bobbing and weaving (and slamming on the brakes) becomes viable enough. And just sturdy enough where it can tank some slams. Of course, nothing in the game is too sturdy vs the cheese the marked man opponents pull off (you'd be shocked at how easily they can take down the monstrous Olympus, clearly the tankiest vehicle in the game). So some strategy is required. Keeping the majority of your opponents in front of you (where they can't slam or shunt you, or randomly TBone you from an intersection) is key.
Runner Up 4: I've never even so much as looked at the Cavalry Bootlegger. Maybe I should. I liked the original Cavalry, and this one looks faster and has stunt boost (and looks like it jumps a fair distance).
1: The Uberschall is pretty badass. It's just a pity endgame races in Paradise typically involve zipping through countless traffic at impossible to react speeds, and praying you don't crash. If Paradise had more straighter and longer racing events, the Uberschall would be GLORIOUS to race in.
A tip for extreme hotrod users you don't have to press the gas when boosting the boost can accelerate it and you can handle it better
I like the cavalry, si7, fastback, the Camaro looking thing, wtr, r turbo roadster, and the hot rod Dragster the one that does wheelies.
Great list, only big change is adding the Touge Sport at first for me. Satisfying af to stunt and mess around on the online challenges.

I really loved Burnout Paradise.
The one thing that I didn’t like was that the cars were infinitely changing gears on straights. I wonder why they didn’t just code the cars to have 5 or 6 gears and have them top out properly

there was supposed to be gear limits for each car, but the criterion games forgot to implemented it, as far as i remember.

@@lemmywilson4755 the boost acceleration of the nighthawk is quick, i will say, especially compared the PCPD special which struggles to get off the line.

sadly the most unique cars are ether non obtainable or only over modding. first in mind is the steelswheel gt. a agressiv (red boost) gt concept variation that extremly heavy and hard to drive. its non obtainable anymore because the sponsoring from this car was running out.
cars that can be driven with savegame modding are the traffic cars. they have all UNIQUE drivephysic aswell. its a shame that all this work the orginal devs (not stellar the onehitwonder wannabee port devs) is not really seen by the most ppl. in bp are more little hidden details where u just think "ohh wonderfull done by them" then the eye meets
you can obtain the steel wheels GT...... reset the updates in your PS3 disc version of the game to v1.0
@@DW98rosy yea i know. on ps3 i own every sponsor code car inclusive the bz ikuza this is over savegame modding possible without downgrading. but this vid/comment was about the ps4 version. there u cant get the cars anymore. only over jailbreak and non saveable on your savegame
@@undertaker8187 which makes no sense, when you think about it...... and there's no way to get them on xbox one as far as i'm aware, making things even worse. (unsure about on PC.)
