bro i was dying when you appeared as a "girl" LMAO completely caught me off guard Aside from that, I found the video very interesting. What stuck out to me was the women saying they date to marry, which, as being a Catholic, and quite standard in Christian culture, has always been how I've been and my other religious friends. I can see where the women are coming from though, I have friends that aren't religious (I'm from US/CA) that date casually as they mentioned, this can be very common in the west.
Being on my 7th year in Japan, 6th year working, I can tell you that casual dating among younger people (teenagers to 30s) is also a big thing. XD lol It's fairly easy for them to find ONS, and FWB as well on apps such as Tinder (most men who are looking for casual dating or ONS/FWB are ont his app as they don't have to pay a monthly fee unlike dating apps such as Pairs (only in Japanese and 2,700 yen /month for men). I've had younger and older men asking me on the street "Do you want to hang out and have fun with me?" or "Do you want to fuck? I want to fuck you." Some asking me my cup size (bra size) or panty color (usually at night in Kyoto or Osaka near stations or bars/clubs).
five big reasons why the Japanese doesn't make good friends: 1 they are too lazy to learn foreign languages and they laugh at our accents when we speak their language 2 they never tell us what mistakes we would make, even though it is the only solution to improve us in front of them 3 they judge what people deserve to hear their "honne" (true thoughts and feelings) and they lies most of the time 4 they insult us behind the back without seeking to know us more and they refuse to talk about themselves 5 and they are too serious , they only swears by work-work in their life and by their rules interacting with them is a waste of time for westerners. don't understand the weeaboo people pretending they can befriending them.
@@RobertDniroLHC These are some advanced levels of insecurities. You haven't provided scientific evidence for your claims and regardless it's probably pseudoscience.

These days i don't think a black guy would trade his BBC to be white, even if he had a choice. And if white guys are so tall then white don't more of them play basketball? which is a sport known to give taller people an advantage. I see nothing but tall black guys play basketball.
It’s nice, but then you each learn the others dialect so sometimes you’ll speak a little weird lol. For some reason my Japanese now sounds like I’m from Ehime, but I haven’t ever been there
I'm Chinese-Canadian and my husband is German. When we first met, he didn't speak very much English and we would bring a German-English dictionary on our dates. We've been married 14 years now! 🥰
That's really warm, cool, and sweet for you to be understanding of his language barrier. It would awesome if you could teach that to others culturally, but hey everyone is RESPECTFULLY different, but it's the little things like that...that will really help keep people together for however long.
I did a couple of subjects in beginners' Japanese as part of my Bachelor's, and my Professor of Japanese was a Czech who originally studied Japanese in Prague and whose Japanese was so good later in his career that he even spent some time in Japan working on some Japanese language advisory body there. He was married to a Japanese woman, and was quoted to have said that it was better for a couple from two different cultures to live in a third country so that neither had the advantage. He practised what he preached to the end, seeing out his final years with his wife in his long-time adopted home city of Melbourne, Australia.
Very good point, though even in a third country problems can arise when one side brings their parents there to live for example. It's difficult no matter what. In the end it really depends on the couple whether it can work, generalizations are just that.
I suppose its like an island scenario, "we Are in a foreign land and niether of us have a Clue how to survive here alone so like it or lump it we Are all we have so lets try to make it work "

Interesting topic, but not hardcore enough, several issues danced around. Why mention "white" at all? White in comparison to? White as how media interprets? White as what is appealing of the colour? What influences the attraction to white men (history, social, stereotypes)? The problems of those influences. What about changing attitudes? Will attraction or the appeal to white men be the same in the future? Especially due to changing perceptions of race, gender and identity?
Nobita, this was AMAZING. One of the best videos I ever saw from you. Thank you a lot and also to Mrs. Nobita 😄 - Chris Abroad, CDawg and all the nice women, telling their feelings! Great!
Damn, that girl who said she can't communicate with her dad properly, such a missed opportunity to become truly bilingual. Unless the dad was always on business trips, kids can learn even 4-5 languages if they have such environment. 2 languages with "one parent one language" is very easy. I learned Finnish and Swedish, then from 5-6 years old started learning English, became fluent in 3 languages.
I dunno about now but it was fairly common for expat dads to be stereotypical bitter foreigners that were just mentally checked out, never learned Japanese and avoided going home bc of their wife
The minute that one girl said "gray zone" my heart dropped knowing what that all meant, I can feel for her on that, I'm an American guy and sometimes dating American girls that would happen... Nothing hurts more than hearing that Hopefully someone gave her a hug If I dated someone who was visiting the US I'd assume the relationship would continue after they went home and we'd work it out from there.. so I feel that one Also love the dressing up as a girl Nobita! @@Mwoods2272 which is an even worse thought... Who'd wanna be used when they're looking for a relationship... And who would wanna be used for their race... I guess it's different if like it's all discussed before anything happens, as that gives both people the option of walking away before it gets to anything where it could hurt feelings...
Funny how indirect Americans and other Anglos are in this aspect, yeah gray zone is obviously some bs and means 'no we are not together'. In the other hand, the Japanese way of just confessing is super direct.
@@maheshpun4804 to be fair I've met a few girls from south America and the middle east that put whatever we had in the gray zone, so I think it's a people in general thing Sure culture will matter alot, but even with that, there are just non committal people everywhere
Yeah it's really confusing when people want to "keep it casual" so I stay away from those people. At the same time I've gone on dates with Asian guys in North America who want to become boyfriend-girlfriend after the first date even though we don't click a all and it's very uncomfortable. There are all kinds I guess.
Another great video, Nobita! I would love to see a video about Brazil, after all, the country has the second largest population of japanese people outside of Japan.
My parents had a language barrier and barely understood each other. 30 years later they still married. My mom is German and she met my dad (USA) at a brothel who had a few too many beers lol.
Some of these girls made a valid point. If we are truly in love with each other, a language barrier wouldn't matter. We can express our love for each other through actions, not words. Actions do speak louder than words.
True for some people. I know someone who married a Japanese man. Since none of them is fluent in the other's language (English and Japanese), they often rely on Google Translate to communicate with each other, but that works for them. I personally wouldn't be able to do that as being able to have deep conversations with my SO is important.
The only problem I've heard with western / white men dating or marrying Japanese women is that after a few years or definitely after the first kid the marriage becomes almost completely sexless. I have a close Japanese friend who is hafu and she says every Western person she knows who is married to a Japanese woman has complained about it. I've also seen studies showing how most of Japanese marriages become sexless which is really unfortunate. Going months without sex for most Western people is far less prevalent than in Japanese society so this leads to issues in the marriage and a lot of unhappiness on the side of the Western men. Even in this video at 8:32 the girl mentions about not wanting much sex.
They say they dont want sex because they are marrying them for the mixed baby and the status/money. Its not attraction. Thats why I dont marry em. Date em, get em to have your kid outside marriage, then just keep dating them. Or not. Whatever.
Beceause the white men is ugly. A good looking white guy wouldn't have issue finding a hot girl back in his country. Usually the mid white guys do to Japan to enjoy white privilledge to get girls. But your blonde hair and blue eyes wont save you for long, once you are married, everyday she see your blonde hair and blue eyes, she will get bored after some point. Once she get bored, she will truly realized your a mid ulgy white guys. I mean who would enjoy with a an ugly mid white guys sex lol.
Oh wow... You interviewed Misa! That was an awesome surprise. Misa is super cool, and her Tokyo Rickshaw gang seems cool too. Another Japanese girl who would be cool to interview would be Miley (from the TH-cam channel "Smiley Time").
I wish there was a culture here in the US that considered dating as something that leads to marriage instead of the sick hook up culture we have. Don't let it go away!
There is a culture in the US that just does that. The problem is that culture is wildly vilified and in most cases classified as whyte supremacist in bad faith.

As a Westerner who is fluent in Japanese and lived in Japan for years up until 2020 I can tell you that the most important topic for the vast majority you would meet there is money. What I'm going to say here is valid for 80-90% of Japanese women in the megacities. It's only after a couple of dates when they will straight up ask you about your income and will then immediately decide whether or not to put you in the list of potential marriage partners. Remember - Japanese women's ultimate goal is to marry while having the financial security and become a full-time housewife. That way they won't have to spend anymore time working in the stressful Japanese environment and keep a good face in Japanese society. Everything else in this video (perhaps excluding communication to a certain extent) is a bonus for Japanese women. Oh, and mentioning communication many Japanese ladies get scared when a western guy can speak Japanese even though they say they "would love it" if he could speak their language. Ladies, I wonder if you'd tell us why is that. ;)))) Finally, I would like to mention another interesting thing - most Western men choose countries like Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam or even China instead of Japan or South Korea when it comes to women. It's something extremely obvious (for anyone who's been to these countries) but rarely discussed. I'm very curious to hear what do Japanese women have to say about that.
This. Most of the comments here miss or not experienced or not informed of the reality of dating in Japan. Fortunately in my case, the company and position I work for usually doesn't land me on the losers side. I've seen beauties with looks like Ryoko Yonekura walk hand in hand with guys way below their league in Tokyo. Why? Okane mochi lol Also, if only these women knew how villified white men are in countries like America lol and the average look of a western guy...one too many cheeseburgers or pizzas.
"even though they say they "would love it" if he could speak their language. Ladies, I wonder if you'd tell us why is that. ;))))" for real why is that?
English guy married to a Japanese lady here - I would say it's not so much about how much money you have, more about whether you have a 'career'. Casual/ short term work = this person is is not taking life seriously.

Loved seeing more gyaru in this video. I’m mostly white, mixed with Japanese and I live in Japan now, but I’m in the inaka where gyaru is very rare. 😩 They are my ideal in personality and fashion. Nobita san can you please make a video about how Japanese woman thinks on marrying Asians? I mean, other than Japanese itself, like Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, etc? I know it's not as special as other foreigners outside Asia (like America, Italy, Britain, etc), but I really wanna know about their opinion about it, knowing that a lot of Asians interested to work and live in Japan.
I have a lot of Philippine friends when i was working in japan, and tbh most of my Philippino friends married japanese women than my western friends, cos let's be real most of us western men just want to hook up, not really dating to marry.. i think there a lot of more asian men marrying japanese women tbh, its just not talk bout more, i dont know why..
Westerners in general are more affectionate, especially with those who they like. The body image some Japanese women I've meet seen to think we're all naturally built like Thor, we're humans and not superheroes- we all have different metabolisms, fat distribution, height and muscle growth just like any other person. I know this thought isn't 100% the case, but it seems to be a common misunderstanding and I could imagine the disappointment for some people being possible. Regardless this video does really help with a few thoughts I had floating around in my head. Thanks Nobita-sensei!
1 - Dating Commitment: One thing that I have realized is that there are several different phases to dating. There is the casual or "Interview" phase, where you are trying to determine if this person is a "fit for the company". Then there is the committed phase, where you intend to marry that person (because they passed the interview phase) but you need to see if they are "management material". And once that has been determined, then they become partners in the company and get married... I feel like I may have mixed a few too many metaphors in there. 2 - Cultural Issues: Cultural differences seems to be a concern, but I think I agree with Conner on this, it’s often just a bad excuse for bad behavior. Cultural differences are not always toxic, it just may take some time and effort to understand and adapt to the new culture. Sometimes all it takes is to know there is a difference to realize “that’s how things are done around here”. It is when people become ridged about their cultural ideals that they cannot adapt to other cultures, and that seems to be the (assumed) problem on both sides of this. There is also a degree of fear, they do not know what the cultural differences will be, so they are afraid to find out the hard way. I know that was my worry when I first went to Japan, but as I have learned about Japanese culture and lived in it, I became less worried about it. 3 - Style: Again, I agree with Conner, If a woman said my beard needed to go, I can always find another woman willing to accept me and my beard. But in all seriousness, Style and appearance is, generally, a secondary issue. You might be narrowing your dating pool with your stylistic choices but it does not mean there is zero chances for you. If anything, they will be the people more likely to like you for who you are. And there is always the other side of that coin, where sometime you can grow fonder of someone’s appearance as you grow closer to them. I remember meeting this one young woman and I felt no attraction to her at first. But as we started hanging out and getting to know each other, she seemed to grow more beautiful. Her appearance stayed the same, but my heart for her grew. (unfortunately, she betrayed me but that’s a comment for another video.)
Thank you once again for another informative video! I've always disliked how purposely unclear western dating is and appreciate things such as kokuhaku making things clear. The Western side has merits however as even though I'm only looking for a serious relationship, I would not enjoy feeling immediately pressured to get married and you have time to actually get to know the other person well and communicate (which should be paramount). I must ask out of sheer curiosity on a video for Japanese people's dating opinions on black men. I'll be moving to Nippon this month for work so my curiosity has only been piling up in anticipation.
My vote is to date the Gyaru women in Japan if you want to date. As for myself, I will just focus on self improvment no matter where life takes me. I am no where being able to even vist Japan but If I was able to, I would most likely try moving my LLC their if I can make it profitable. In the mean time, I wonder what it would be like to become a Software Developer in Japan on a Work Visa? That what I am more intreasted in doing. Great Video!
Language and communication is probably the biggest barrier to this kind of dating. I would struggle with it if I couldn't easily talk to a partner. It does seem like there are a lot of factors here, however. Some of the women brought up concerns and possible difficulties which I hadn't even thought of! A sense of adventure is definitely required!
Nobita, you know what? You are a G.O.A.T.. I love your videos and the roles you always play in those. This time I couldn't help. I had to laugh but you said what you thought so it's an opinion which people should respect. As someone who is really interested in Japan your videos are a good method to learn about Japan and Japanese culture. Keep your nice work up!
In Germany something similar to Kokuhaku exists. The "immature" version you often find in school are little letters asking if the other person wants to date with little boxes saying yes and no and the other one can cross off their choice. And the much more common "mature" version is asking pretty directly and it usually ends in verbal rejection or a kiss on the lips, which only lovers do in Germany. (And little kids who find it funny) Nobita-chan is absolute waifu material. I hope you find a nice female youtuber who cosplays as your husbando. XD
I think a keyword for dating is 個人的に向き合うこと or facing your prospective partner as an individual. Assuming this or that going into a prospective relationship, or writing off/pursuing relationships based on assumptions about the perceived cultural background of another is just setting yourself up for disaster or cutting yourself off from good potential relationships. As a person who doesn't fit most of the assumptons a Japanese person might have about generic "white people" and who has no interest in dating a person whose personality easily slids into some sort of box, naturally or as an affect of who they think they ought to be, I think the world of relationships would be better if people graduated this type of thinking.
Exactly, wanting to date a foreigner because you have certain expectations about that person before getting to know him/her is a very dumb thing imo. I think no matter from which country is coming from or ethinicity, you should never assume that he/she will automatically be good at something and behave in a certain way when that is not always the case. Not all people in the same country are equal, everyone have their own personality and taste.
Another great video once again Nobita!! But one thing’s for sure, もっとしきりに「のびたーちゃん」という女性を見たいでしょう!正直こんな物が完璧だと思います!* *No google translate here. Just tried to express how fun 😂🤩 and cool I think the idea is with the Japanese I ‘do’ know
White European guy here. I dated a Japanese girl a few years ago, and the keys, besides what another used said, 個人的に向き合う, was the mentality of レディファースト and the fact that I took time to listen to, help, and talk with her (something that in my culture is taken for granted towards your partner) as well as taking initiatives to doing things. She was very blunt about liking those aspects of me as a person asides from more personal ones. If you don't speak the language (she did not speak anything else than Japanese) or share another language on a fluent level, it will be very difficult to make it work.
@John Grigg That's not the point that I was trying to make and you know it. As human beings we're not compatible with everyone regardless of languages. Too bad they turned out to be worthless. If your "friends" are so "fluent" as you claim they are, they should have seen that coming a thousand miles away and been able to pick up on that fact early on.
Japanese women who follow the Gyaru fashion are so cheerful and friendly that they don't even seem from Japan. Which is partly a good thing in my opinion, as most Japanese people are extremely serious and formal.
When I first went to Japan, what surprised me was how much Japanese liked to laugh (especially when drinking...) That gyaru is hilarious! She's never been abroad... I think she'd be surprised by how many people (especially guys) would want to get to know her...
I can’t speak for Japanese people but in the US the concept of dating or marrying outside your race is met with mixed feelings depending on the kind of environment you grew up in. It’s usually accepted but you’ll always have folks who find a problem with the action of dating outside their race. Thanks for this video Nobita.
I dated an Okinawan woman for over 3 years, and she could not marry me, since her father insisted on having only Okinawan names on their family register. Sadly, I had to let her go.
@@Greenforrest7342 It didn't come up until we became more serious. She and I were in our early 30s, so I didn't think it was even an issue. Fast forward a few years, and I found a great lady and have everything I ever wanted.
It depends on the races involved. Few people care if Whites and Asians or Whites and Latins or say a Indian mixed together. Because these are all genes that can work well together, and whoever their children reproduce with they will wind up looking like that race. I dated a girl who was 1/8 Chinese and she was as blonde and blue eyed as they come, you really couldn't tell. It's the same in the other direction. What no one wants their kids to mix with is blacks, for the reason the genes do not go well together. Even one of my friends who is half white, 1/4 hispanic 1/4 black, said her half black father told her to never date black guys. If you have even one black ancestor it takes many generations to breed out. Did you know that any European and any Asian are more closely related to each other than either is to blacks? Apparently blacks mixed with some primitive Homo Ergaster variant 33-36,000 years ago. That is why they are so different from Europeans or Asians. Genetics are interesting.
as an european, i must, if a woman looks "cute", it does not matter, from which country she is from. as a man, i must say, when you have found liking in a woman, you want to do 2 things, you want love and an comfort her in every aspect and you want to show it to others, that this lady is yours. at least this is opinion and personal experience. when i had a girlfriend, i showed her my affection at every possible moment, even when we had an argument. maybe it is my way of thinking and living.
Great video, and I love all your topics Nobita. As a Mexican man (with hopes of dating in Japan one day) I am a little annoyed, maybe 30% offended by this and will not bat an eye if any Japanese woman even asks me out on a date in the future🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 hahha
I can understand the whole 'only dating when you would consider the other person marriage material'. I've never casually dated anyone and I made it clear that I wanted a long-term relationship when I began dating the woman I later married. I guess that makes me traditional versus the whole 'hook-up' culture that now seems to prevail in the United States.
Honestly, I’m glad someone addressed the whole ‘What do Japanese women think of “western” men?’ when they are clearly talking about white men. This feels way more honest(? Not sure if that’s the right word, but going with that) and allows me take in the answers under a more specific context than a broad one. Also, Nobita can’t pull of the bob cut. 😂
People like you have to understand that Africa isn't in the western hemisphere. Just because you move here, doesn't mean you're western. You're till a poc. Just living in a white nation.
@@sleeperboi8701 Yeah… I think you’re forgetting that there are people of color who are born and raised in western countries who have never set foot in Africa and see themselves as westerners. @@Maxemillian_X true but the Japanese just see blacks as an “all in one”. It’s allows them to justify any bias they have and that just how humans are. Western = white to them.
Japanese learner here: one thing thats awesome about it is that you can understand most native speakers straight away. The language isn't dominated by contractions, patois, whacky accents or outlandish idioms.
As a white man from west I was 5 years in relationship with Japanese girl. Language, culture in beginning doesn't matter when love is huge but later as time goes it becomes big problem , as one comment said below . The best solution is to live in third country , there has to be a lot of compromise in this kind of relationship, and based on my experience Japanese girls don't compromise a lot , especially if they need to move out of Japan, leave work, parents etc. Both sides as seen in video have a lot of stereotypes from movies, internet etc. One thing I can't forget is how her behavior changed when she visited me in Europe, similar how when people change languages she smiled a lot , always looking cheerful, but when in Japan she would be strict and rigid ,she thinked too much about people around her. Even though we had bad breakup I still think good of her and she helped me and uplift me a lot.

As a guy, I honestly wish we had a cultural thing like kokohaku in the UK. Im so confused by how others around me see dating, hookups and relationships. For example, some people have told me its okay to start dating multiple people because dating is not yet a committed relationship, but to me that never made sense. If I ask someone to date, its because i like that person and want an exclusive relationship and it would never mean anything else to me. I dont truly understand the line between dating and relationship. To me it just seems like a bad excuse to not be loyal or not take the relationship seriously even after you said yes to someone. Kokohaku would make relationship status much more clear.

I’m also from the U.K. I must admit that any girlfriend I’ve had in my life I’ve always defined the relationship when it became clear that she wanted that sort of thing to. You want to know that the other person wants what you want from the relationship, otherwise you are both wasting each other’s time. My wife is Japanese and she recently told me that one of the reasons for her deciding to date me was I did kokuhaku.
Great motivation for me to practice my Japanese more. I live in the country side of Japan though and these seem to be mostly city girls, I wonder if there is a difference in opinion. Great video thanks.

me personally the girlfriend always comes first idc call me a simp or whatever but i try to give my girl anything she wants and her feelings come before my own
Going to far imo. In the off chance the relationship ends you would have wasted everything. One thing is to treat her well and with respect, another is to spoil her. Spoiling people is never a good thing. Just look at spoiled children, most end up as ill mannered snobs.
2:11 this took the "Be the American the Japanese think you are" meme to a whole new level I think eventually Japanese people will develop some Paris Syndrome, but with white men instead of a city
4: 30 The lady who said "western man value communication more" is on point. This is especially true when you argue with your other half, and instead of having dialogue about what can be done better Japanese people tend to keep it inside - which in my opinion is catastrophic for a healthy relationships.
I do believe that when it comes to expecting the man to move to japan all the time is very unfair, for example: if the woman has no obligations or attachments such as a mortgage, pets, or children and she is just living with her parents, then I believe she should move to his country. If he for example has no obligations or attachments such as a mortgage, pets or children then he should move to Japan. The thing that many Japanese women and their parents or siblings fail to realise or refuse to accept, is that what they are refusing to do but expect the man to do will put the man in the same u comfortable situation on which they themselves refused to be in. It has to swing both ways.
I'd think that her parents/grandparents would hold more weight than a mortgage or pets. I didn't understand it as they would insist their foreign partner move to Japan, just that it might not work out because they wouldn't be willing to move away from their family, which is understandable.
@@BlueDrew10 This are all true points, but the man faces the same issue. I believe that the woman’s expectation is also selfish. Most white people are happy to live anywhere, I think Japanese women need to also learn to be flexible and understanding too.

4:48 - Haha, I'm sure if you ask some of the people here they'll say the same, including me. Just have to reapply to some work opportunities for a visa as the ones I had before are no longer available due to the long time the country remained shut to internationals.
Most of these Japanese women are unrealistic due to Hollywood and Japan TV programming. They demand too much from the guy and give very little back. The Gyaru women are probably the best choice in this case. lol
All these girls saying "I date for marriage." is for Video lol, obviously there's a lot of women in Japan who casually date also. Based on my own experience.

Aside from that, I found the video very interesting.
What do you mean? I only saw the most beautiful ladies in this video.

Being on my 7th year in Japan, 6th year working, I can tell you that casual dating among younger people (teenagers to 30s) is also a big thing. XD lol
It's fairly easy for them to find ONS, and FWB as well on apps such as Tinder (most men who are looking for casual dating or ONS/FWB are ont his app as they don't have to pay a monthly fee unlike dating apps such as Pairs (only in Japanese and 2,700 yen /month for men). I've had younger and older men asking me on the street "Do you want to hang out and have fun with me?" or "Do you want to fuck? I want to fuck you." Some asking me my cup size (bra size) or panty color (usually at night in Kyoto or Osaka near stations or bars/clubs).
five big reasons why the Japanese doesn't make good friends:
1 they are too lazy to learn foreign languages and they laugh at our accents when we speak their language
2 they never tell us what mistakes we would make, even though it is the only solution to improve us in front of them
3 they judge what people deserve to hear their "honne" (true thoughts and feelings) and they lies most of the time
4 they insult us behind the back without seeking to know us more and they refuse to talk about themselves
5 and they are too serious , they only swears by work-work in their life and by their rules
interacting with them is a waste of time for westerners. don't understand the weeaboo people pretending they can befriending them.
Catholic and Christian are not even remotely the same thing
I feel like Japanese girls have this image of the western man (gentleman) from the 50s that fits more a James Bond movie than reality
Actually you're correct

When I visit Japan, hopefully next year, I am going straight to the gyaru bar.
@Space Ray Engine Just because australia is closer to japan, it does not mean their cultures are similar

I agree
I dunno about now but it was fairly common for expat dads to be stereotypical bitter foreigners that were just mentally checked out, never learned Japanese and avoided going home bc of their wife

I would love to see a video about Brazil, after all, the country has the second largest population of japanese people outside of Japan.
My parents had a language barrier and barely understood each other. 30 years later they still married.
My mom is German and she met my dad (USA) at a brothel who had a few too many beers lol.
wait........at a brothel and he jugged beers, then had you? ahhhh.....I think I can solve the missing clue between what you said....:)
How can you love someone you have never really spoken to? You may be attracted by a person but loving a stranger?!
110% true. Sad.
They say they dont want sex because they are marrying them for the mixed baby and the status/money. Its not attraction.
Thats why I dont marry em. Date em, get em to have your kid outside marriage, then just keep dating them. Or not. Whatever.
I will say, Ive bamged a LOT of japanese women every time I go there. They certainly have no issues with jumping into bed whenever.

Ladies, I wonder if you'd tell us why is that. ;))))
Finally, I would like to mention another interesting thing - most Western men choose countries like Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam or even China instead of Japan or South Korea when it comes to women.
Why? Okane mochi lol
Also, if only these women knew how villified white men are in countries like America lol and the average look of a western guy...one too many cheeseburgers or pizzas.
"even though they say they "would love it" if he could speak their language. Ladies, I wonder if you'd tell us why is that. ;))))"
for real why is that?
English guy married to a Japanese lady here - I would say it's not so much about how much money you have, more about whether you have a 'career'. Casual/ short term work = this person is is not taking life seriously.

The Gyaru girl is adorable!
Nobita is the hero TH-cam deserves.

@@Greenforrest7342 It gets tiring having to look at your Google translate after every comment.

(And little kids who find it funny)

If you don't speak the language (she did not speak anything else than Japanese) or share another language on a fluent level, it will be very difficult to make it work.
ᴼᵏ
@John Grigg That's not the point that I was trying to make and you know it. As human beings we're not compatible with everyone regardless of languages. Too bad they turned out to be worthless. If your "friends" are so "fluent" as you claim they are, they should have seen that coming a thousand miles away and been able to pick up on that fact early on.
Weeb, learn to type in english
Japanese women who follow the Gyaru fashion are so cheerful and friendly that they don't even seem from Japan. Which is partly a good thing in my opinion, as most Japanese people are extremely serious and formal.

I can’t speak for Japanese people but in the US the concept of dating or marrying outside your race is met with mixed feelings depending on the kind of environment you grew up in. It’s usually accepted but you’ll always have folks who find a problem with the action of dating outside their race. Thanks for this video Nobita.

Fast forward a few years, and I found a great lady and have everything I ever wanted.
I live in the U.S. And my mom is Indian 🇮🇳 and Spanish 🇪🇸 and my father is white. I haven't had any people not been accepting to me 🤔.
I absolutely love the low-key drama between you and Connor 🤣 makes my day each time there’s a cameo
as an european, i must, if a woman looks "cute", it does not matter, from which country she is from. as a man, i must say, when you have found liking in a woman, you want to do 2 things, you want love and an comfort her in every aspect and you want to show it to others, that this lady is yours. at least this is opinion and personal experience. when i had a girlfriend, i showed her my affection at every possible moment, even when we had an argument. maybe it is my way of thinking and living.

25:00 Nobita:"so you are saying there's a chance? Yeeeeeaaaaah!!
You and that girl seem like you'd be a good match ☺️
I remember Connor's reaction to your video but I didn't think you would actually cover it. Fantastic interviews, as always.
3:56 lmao
do you know what video was that
Thank you nobita-san for another great video of your home country
That was the point I was making, but since you are clearly not on person of color who was born and raised in a western country, you would not know that. Easy mistake to make.
@@Maxemillian_X true but the Japanese just see blacks as an “all in one”. It’s allows them to justify any bias they have and that just how humans are. Western = white to them.
@@Maxemillian_Xthe west just means white. Which it should, as they are the only actual westerners
@@Maxemillian_XYou don’t speak for me; we are copper colored American Indians. Take your Afrocentric belief elsewhere.
Wow You just said the most racist thing that I have ever heard. I cant believe your solution is to live in a third world country.
@@seungheechang6293 Read again. I said third country not third world country. Why I am even bothering explaining .You are only one who seen this post as racist ,maybe because you are?
All about dating white guys, but any interview on dating Indians or African guys who also speak fluent BBC type English ?
Shut up weeb.
Five months late, but Nobita got me there. Genuine laughter on that. Good stuff.
Very cool 💯
"If I ask someone to date, its because i like that person and want an exclusive relationship and it would never mean anything else to me."
Damn, you need to chill.
@@jUQMtDmf what exactly do you mean? I dont see anything wrong about what I said. What would your definition of "chill" imply that I do differently?
@@numberproof7228 Don't mind dog, he just has a different view of what dating entails than you. Words don't mean the same things to everyone, and thats ok. You do you.
If you live in the Japanese countryside, go ask them.
I love Nobita san content. And... Hi Misa!! Yay!
They want the western style "ladies first", but, in my experience do not like the western style public displays of affection. Cherry picking.
I just roll with it. They will sometimes do public displays of affection, I know from experience.
Because PDA isn't a thing in Japan. It can be looked down upon....ahhhhhh good ole Japanese views on PDA to put a damper on the whole WMAF thing. I'm laughing at this btw
There is a room for that. Japan is a conservative society hence so.
As long as their not a cold fish in private like that one lady who only could stand to be with some one once a month, what difference does it make.
@Prkau telek Please, don't say that! Japan is a peaceful society, they don't need terrorism.
I find very funny when japanese talk about Kokuhaku, because there is something like that in my culture hahahaha I'm Brazilian
I know a Brazilian woman married to a German guy and she was like "are we dating? Are we a couple? When will you ask me to be your girlfriend!?"
LOL
"Weekly sex would be too much for me."
Welp, that's a wrap, boys. Time to pack it in.
Lmao. Exactly what I thought. Once a week is too much? Couldn't be me😂😂
That manly looking woman was my favorite, I work out and watch podcasts so I think we would do well. Podcast and chill?
Nobita is excellent!
Great Job Nobita; Keep up the good work!!
The person that comes in at 4 mins talking about dating white men us the most japanese moment ive ever seen haha
i love the gyaru girl, I want to be her friend. also i'm jealous of sayaka's fangs lol
me personally the girlfriend always comes first idc call me a simp or whatever but i try to give my girl anything she wants and her feelings come before my own
That is pedestalling and no real woman would want you for that.
Going to far imo. In the off chance the relationship ends you would have wasted everything. One thing is to treat her well and with respect, another is to spoil her. Spoiling people is never a good thing. Just look at spoiled children, most end up as ill mannered snobs.
*Good vid, I enjoyed it. Even the role playing.*
3:57 this caught me so off-guard lmao. I love it
Great vidéo, really interesting.
2:11 this took the "Be the American the Japanese think you are" meme to a whole new level
I think eventually Japanese people will develop some Paris Syndrome, but with white men instead of a city
they got China for that. Just lookup Eiffel Tower in China. It's there.
@@BlueDrew10 Japan is a beautiful country, but its social demographic and job vs life style is out of balance and not as enjoyable as the west. So it is why most marriages where the husband moves and stays in japan fail.
@@richardmeyer2258 If you expect someone from a different culture to adapt to your culture, you're gonna have a rough time. Also, I'm not sure if you're American, but many places in America value family, especially here in the South. I'd be apprehensive to live that far away from my family, especially as they get older.
@@BlueDrew10 I am Australian, we also value family, but the same can be said about Japanese women expecting western “white” men to adapt to their culture. It swings both ways.
Nobita you are a great journalist!
My wife is Japanese and I am German and we had a lot of arguments in the past because of misunderstandings. A lot of cultural differences. I am really straightforward and she was like not showing her true feelings. Tough times especially in our beginnings.
Sounds like honne and tatemae.
You probably meant straightforward
@@sharavy6851 maybe his wify is actually quite a bit bi, thus the misunderstanding.
Oh sorry for the misunderstanding I am not native. I meant straightforward.
Same with me. There is a lot of implied action and meaning among Japanese that can be hard to pick up. It’s the same with English too though, so my wife and I are both working through it.
Nobita with a wig, fantastic!! :D :D
It was nice to see familiar faces like Misa-san,Lemi-san and Emi-san. I can totally understand their thoughts and perspectives for dating or marrying a white man(language barrier, cultural differences, moving to a new country). As a gaikokujin I'd have the same worries too but if you truly love someone,i'm pretty sure these problems won't hold you back.Japanese girls are so polite and nice, they truly deserve the ladies first treat.Thank you for the enjoyable video Nobita-san(your cosplay was funny and caught me by surprise😂).Keep up the good work👍
You're one of my favorite channels on youtube. If I ever meet you in Japan, I'll buy you an an Apple Chuhai. :D
Nobita with a wig was a moment of genius
4:00 I want to laugh loudly but then I'll be waking up my neighbors 😂🤣😂
I met and dated a girl from Kobe Japan, who was half Japanese half American both her parents were married over 35 years and did not speak fluent language of each others so the mother did not speak fluent English and the dad did not speak fluent Japanese, but she went to a international school where there was a lot of mixed race kids and even she said in Japan she was considered an outsider cause she did not look full Japanese, but I do like half Japanese
The Gyaru women are probably the best choice in this case. lol
Nice shade of rouge there Nobita. ;D
All these girls saying "I date for marriage." is for Video lol, obviously there's a lot of women in Japan who casually date also.
Based on my own experience.
I really like the way you aproach the interview, i agree with you about speaking japanese, i'm a european men i don't understand why other man doesn't care about the same language, nice video !!!
I don't know somehow I'm more confused now after watching the video
But hey it's 3 am, time to go to sleep!
