You are so right squatting goes back to foreigners comming and UN lawfully occupying the land...but it has now come to mean the struggle of the native populations to live ON (within) a space .

Hello I am watching your video and I love the content I have to ask you a question. I am a foreigner I have property in Trinidad that my uncle had left me. I have documentation over 20 years ago and I do not know the law of Trinidad and Tobago. My uncle had left me in control of the property until my father died my father passed away recently and now I believe that I am the full controller of the property I just would like to make sure and I was wondering if you can help me thank you.

Do you have to have a certification of comfort in order to mortgage the land.

I am to understand that lawyers in Trinidad and Tobago charge a percentage of the value of a property as their fee when hired to manage (legally) the changing of ownership etc.
    Is that true?
It seems unethical. I’m assuming the cost to do this should generally be the same.

So I know its acting right, but the neocolonial mindset is so obvious.
Why the two attorneys are of distinctively lighter complexion than the land owner and prospective buyer?
Forgive me if it was not intentional, I'm a traumatized african domiciled here on this former slave plantation

crown what? england is that way madam & the native rightful owners of the land were massacred whilst so called squatter maroons were victims of mass kidnapping & have yet to be given a ride home at no charge plus reparations. where is the law on the backpay for enslavement plus pain & suffering?

An it's a disgrace to disable people in Trinidad and Tobago because there are no laws and, they are allowing healthy family members to rub there disabled family wen they where were in mental stage breakdown so it is a shame and disgrace in so called sweet T&T or Trinidad and Tobago

Thanks for the video. One question, Where would you go if you were to die today? Seek the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ before it's too late. John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Hell is real and Heaven is also real. You don't want to spend an eternity in Hell torment without God. The only way to escape Hell is to follow Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Study the KJV Bible to know more and pray and seek until you find Jesus. Don't delay tomorrow might be too late. You are not promised even the next minute. Do it now
