Your wife is a good woman. My wife would never let me have a set up like that. Everything has to be displayed in a nice way in our house. Happy wife happy life is one one of the most accurate sayings out there.
Probably one of the best videos on indoor orchid growing using led grow lights I have ever seen. 🤗 Includes much more than just lightning. Thank you. 👍 I hope you will find the time to make more videos about your orchids. You are really good at it.
I used to water mines ones a week and their leaves started to turn yellow and the roots started to rotten. Im going to try a different medium and lighting.
Beautiful blooms you have ! I live in California Bay area and this is a very Informative video. Thank you for tackling all the topics that you did for someone amateur in growing orchids indoor like me. Very useful.
Thank you for such great all around, information! You answered my questions I had after viewing so many other videos, I was about to give up when I found your video! Again thank you and obviously you have something to be proud of. Your attention and dedication shows!

Hi this is an amazing video, and deserves 100x the views! I grow in a south facing window with very bright light and grow Phalaenopsis species/novelty hybrids/primary hybrids so they require more light than complex hybrid phals. A week ago I got some LED's because winter just doesnt cut it with 9.5 hour day lengths here in NY. I had a question regarding the PPFD, some of my phals under the lights get around 80-110PPFD which I think should be fine but if some get around 200PPFD for higher light requiring phals like bellina/gigantea, do you think I'll face a problem down the line? Or is that range fine if its a higher light requiring Phal? Thank you so much for this amazing video, new sub here!!
I just started growing orchids. So far i have 15 pots of phalaenopsis, 7pots catleya and 5 dendrobium. I still have to learn more of how to grow them properly. I am from philippines and its very hot here so i keep them inside the house.
I'm running out of room and I need lights for my plants . Watching your video you said to buy a white light . I was looking at purple , blue, and red . I'm just starting so I need help . Do you soak your orchids ? Maybe you can send me a message on the lighting you use , name brands , where by it . Did you say you bought the black trays , white grid , and stands from Lowes ? thank you for your presentation , it was very helpful . Hope to here from you because I just starting and hope to start out right .

Those are fantastic! Amazing setting and great advices. How did you let me bloom so nicely? Temperatura control?
I really like the moisture idea with the trays although I couldn't do it in the apartment setting. Wish there's more elegant solution.
thanks - makes life easy watering

Great video, I keep coming back to it. What is the name of the red lycaste?
the red lycaste is my favorite and is blooming again right now - unfortunately I lost the name tag -
@@growproteas1148 Unfortunate! It's beautiful, enjoy. I don't find them for sale often, is the only problem.
Very nice video! Can you share where did you buy your 23x45 inch growing tray? A link to it would be highly appreciated!
Sorry I bought it locally...
@@growproteas1148 Okay. Thanks!

pretty much any white grow light on amazon will work... no I don't soak the orchids - just water until drenched - let the water run through the pot...
❤❤❤
thanks!
Miltoniopsis 'Herr Alexander'
Lycaste 'Abou First Spring'
When you mention "grow stone" do you mean pumice?
it is actually called grow stone - but yes similar to pumice
@@growproteas1148 thank you!
Hi, what is the wattage of your lights?
36-150 watts thanks
@@growproteas1148 Thanks!!
