I always enjoy your' videos . I used to fish a grub a lot but got into these newer baits think I'm going back. You must be one of the few who even talks about them anymore,
Very good video man - thank you. I don't have forward facing sonar but I do have a lot of crystal-clear quarry lakes that I've been fishing where this could be really useful.
Hey Hank, really love the versatility of the old ball head jigs. So many things you can do with them. Really glad you talked about setting drag. I see so many people just crank it down & just try to hog everything in & lose a lot of fish. Would be a good video for the what, where, when & why on setting drag. Don’t see too many guys cover the subject. Keep up the great work!!! #100percentwatchsquad👊
As always another great video Hank. Not only do you always show quality fish catching lures but putting the kno how with them and giving away some of your secrets makes you the best out there. Much love bro and keep up the awesome work and videos. #100percentwatchsquad
Another great video. I appreciate the back reeling comment, having grown up on a few Abu Garcia Cardinal reels! I look forward to seeing you eventually get into BFS. Tight lines this season Hank!
This has quickly become one of my favorite ways to catch fish Hank! I can catch them on this rig when nothing else works. Those look like killer heads! I will be getting some of them for sure. Keep the good stuff coming Hank!!
#100percentwatchsquad. Love the Angler Tungsten stuff it's just hard to catch it in stock. Quit buying it all Hank! Lol. You are the man Big Daddy. Keep on rockin'!!
Great Video my friend and thank you for the Tips on rigging that Jig Head. I’m an Amazon or Walmart Lure and Bait guy but I’ll check out the Damiki. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
i ordered skme of those angler tungsten. unfortunately had to return them. couple of my points were dull....no excuse for that price. then, the 2/0 just too big for the finess baits i use
I need to pick one of these up sometime. Hey I did something weird with my jig the other day and I really like it caught a nice bass too. I was using a black blue purple shoe bootie jig and for my trailer I used a zoom horny toad. Big profile looked like a million bucks
#100percentwatchsquad rules!!! Hey, Hank, have you tried the Matt Stefan hover rig at all? It's made for that mopping/damiki rig style of fishing. Although, I've fished them in my shallow and heavily vegetated lakes. I love 'em, but what do you think?
I have played with the hover rig don’t know that it’s the same as Matt uses but I can get the same effect using the right weight at the right depth on a minnow style bait
It’s more compact so it fits a finesse Swimbait or anything much better. It’s harder to it transmitted ticks off the bottom or cover or bites better. Showed up WAAAAAAAY better on a live scope.
I like your channel don't get me wrong. But the only use for a tungsten swimmer head is to tick those rocks PERIOD. I'm willing to bet over half the viewer's on here just plain don't know at an expensive price. #1 that's not a Ball head...it's a dumbed down Freestyle head....you can't put eyes on a Ball head. I've been making this Freestyle jig head for a few years with the screw lock only lead. Don't get me wrong it's a great swimmer head but I just feel like you're bending the truth to your viewer's on the real purpose of a tungsten head is for. #2 you say you're old school and like to back reel because you don't trust em...that's a perfectly good reel and there are plenty more on the market with excellent drag systems...You might as well tell your viewer's to turn their handles upside down. Again I like your channel but be truthful with the viewer's on what this swimmer head is really meant for...pretty expensive believe me I know. This one was a rough one to watch. 🤝
@@timanderson4539 He's not bending any truth. Its almost 50% smaller than lead heads. Your 1/2oz lead is close to the size of my 3/8oz tungsten. This has made a huge difference on pressured lakes being able to use a heavier head with a smaller profile. #2 if you are a livescope guy, these heads are solid white on your graph at 100ft. There is a purpose for these, thats why i've sold over 10,000 packs since January, 2.5 months of that time they were out of stock.
I film a lot of how to’s on a small lake close by. It’s fast easy and with my work schedule I can film 5-6 in a day and fish the rest of the month when I get days off.

It’s been paying off for me the last couple years

Love those ballhead jigs. I've used them for a long time with little swim baits. Thanks for the video Hank. #100percentwatchsquad

Good tips on the rigging.
Thank ya

It is ya just have to tweak the bait
Great looking bait lineup

That’s pretty cool!
I have aome vmc heads just like that. I think those flambeau tuff tainers zerust are badass and prefer them over plano
Both are good heads but these are tungsten. So smaller head for the same weight makes them more finesse
@@BassGeek yeah i think the smallest the vmc comes in is 1/4 oz anyway ill habe to check those out
Hey that is good tips but one thing lake. Heartwell fish don't seem to like any thing there they just don't like being caught lol
Hahahaha man they are in the post spawn right now. Gotta back off deep
When do you get your new boat ???? I’m excited for you brother
New boat video should be out Sunday

I wouldn’t trust a lews drag either, that’s why I stick to shimano.
Hahaha I don’t trust them
Can someone explain why a tungsten swimmer head over lead heads...I'll wait.
