Mr Evans, Your teaching style is very pleasing and inviting to your students out here. I think it is because you seem relaxed and practical while clearly delighted with painting and sharing your experience. This outdoor painting is particularly fun and the practical, uncluttered way you go about is a rare treat.

Also the brushes you use. My big frustration here in New Zealand is the difficulty in sourcing good brushes.. Thanks again! My best wishes to you and your ever patient Wife, Regards from, Judy ( in New Zealand)

I'm not familiar with brands in the UK, but look for a sunblock with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide instead of the chemical sunscreens. They are so much nicer than the others, don't cause breakouts, burn eyes, or have that slimy sticky feel. Often labelled for sensitive skin. Reapply every hour or two if in direct sun. This is what I use, every day www.neutrogena.com/products/sun/sensitive-skin-sunscreen-lotion-broad-spectrum-spf-60/6847260.html

SHi Charles. Peter from Noosa Australia. What a scene. Like your previous painting of the trees in your back yard I put my watercolours away and dusted off the acrylic paint. With your help we are improving, but I would like to ask is there any tricks to using the Naples yellow for light. After several goes I seem to lay it on to thick or tap my fingers a little too hard. Any how having fun. Please enjoy the sun and keep painting. Oh I forgot to say thank you
    Peter

Peter Butler you kind of answered your own question there! Don’t lay it on too quickly pleased you’re enjoying them.

How come it didn't dry super fast out in the fresh air and heat? I really struggle to paint because it dries so fast indoors. Perhaps it's the paint. Mine are Windsor and Newton student paints

Good to see you corona safe and at work. I find acrylics more difficult than watercolor. Your microphone never works 😁. Its always the camera built in. Get a lavell e microphone that connects directly to camera for more even audio. If the camera cant handle it, get a Canon GX7 III !

Charles Evans I'm always dismayed by thumbs down. Here in Yorkshire we always say 'If I can't do ‘em a good turn , I wouldn't do ‘em a bad 'n.
Another helpful video Charlie. Like other viewers, I usually only paint in watercolour but this is quite inspiring to give acrylics a go. With so many deliveries during lockdown, I might use the cardboard as a support 😀 Sending painterly warm wishes from the Sheffield Peaks 🎨
