Thank you. I feel happy to have found a new teacher. I really love your way of painting. I am getting ready to take two weeks free of everything and everybody and paint MORE! How lucky to have discovered you.
I enjoyed every single second of that tutorial!! You are truly gifted and I thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent. The painting is lovely, and I am going to do my best to try it. Magic...it was magic watching you with those brushes, and I appreciate learning all of your special techniques!
Mr Evans, Your teaching style is very pleasing and inviting to your students out here. I think it is because you seem relaxed and practical while clearly delighted with painting and sharing your experience. This outdoor painting is particularly fun and the practical, uncluttered way you go about is a rare treat.
Thank you very much for posting these videos. Your explanations are easy to understand and implement. Just listening to you while painting helps a lot. Keep doing it so that we keep learning from you. Thank you Charles.
A beautiful painting. Thank you to you and Gail baking in that sun 😃. I have your book Charles, it's very well laid out and some lovely projects in it.. x
Thank you so much Charles this is the best landscape tutorial I have found you paint so beautifully. I painted one of your scenes yesterday and it really helped me. Love this one.
I’m painting mostly watercolor now due to work but I absolutely love watching you paint! My own paintings have greatly improved since watching your videos and using your quick tips book!! Thank you!!
Thank you for a Very Helpful Video! I am just 7 months into my painting life (acrylics). I am leaning into landscapes and am enjoying mixing colours. I have found your mixes esp. helpful. Also the brushes you use. My big frustration here in New Zealand is the difficulty in sourcing good brushes.. Thanks again! My best wishes to you and your ever patient Wife, Regards from, Judy ( in New Zealand)
Thanks Charlie. Have to leave some holes in the trees for the little birdies to fly through😉 I really have to go back and write down all the brown mixes from raw umber and just tape it to my wall. Once in a while I'll dabble in acrylics. Thanks again. Really appreciate your instruction.👍😁

Thank you Charles for the excellent tutorial on trees and bushes - I found it extremely helpful and something I can use to practice with. One area I know I still need some work is on the “digital” bits! 😉. Thanks again!
Charles, your paintings and your techniques are wonderful to watch. Thank you for sharing. I usually use oils but am trying acrylics and find it more difficult because they dry so fast. Your keeping me interested. I will see if I can find a pallet like yours, and keep at it. Stay well.🙏🤗

Une toile intéressante, apparemment vous travaillez les couleurs avec beaucoup d'eau,un peu à la manière de l' aquarelle?, avec l'acrylique si l'on met trop d'eau,il ne reste pas beaucoup de pigments sur la toile.
Thanks for this. I have seen People with Brollys fastened to the Easel. Is it more of a nuisance to have one? I am sure the wind would play hell with it.

Charles Evans Yes I totally get that, it would just be nice to see how something stormy is done...all the best! I think we have watched all your videos now and are having a bash!
I'm not familiar with brands in the UK, but look for a sunblock with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide instead of the chemical sunscreens. They are so much nicer than the others, don't cause breakouts, burn eyes, or have that slimy sticky feel. Often labelled for sensitive skin. Reapply every hour or two if in direct sun.
