That's a very interesting flavor combination! I'm going to try this, but being lazy, will use a full crescent dough sheet for the bottom, then the filling, then a full sheet top. Kinda like a giant empenada.
I'm lazy too thought . Of the same thing as you did. Use one crescent dough for bottom . And one for top . With filling in the middle . Have a wonderful day .

I make chicken rolls with diced cooked chicken mushrooms and cream cheese! Then roll up in crescent dough dip in melted butter and then bread crumbs bake and top with gravy! Yummy.. I will try yours for sure..

Oh Catherine my youngest granddaughter who’s 5 watched your video & now she wants to eat it. Seriously she’s always helping me, but now she loves watching the videos 1st. i would use dice tomatoes and Italian seasoning

I made these for dinner tonight. I had a lot of the creamy chicken mixture left over. I think my Pillsbury crescent rolls were quite small, couldn't fit much in them. So, I just mixed the set aside gravy/ sauce mix into that, then I put some biscuits in the oven and we used those to put the left over chicken gravy mix on. It all turned out yummy! Thanks for the recipe!!!😋
