    Around midnight, I always have this crazy flow of ideas and energy as well as concentration. Which I found to be a bit of a disadvantage at first cause at day I really can't concentrate on mental tasks no mater what I do, but at night it's the total opposite it's like everything becomes so clear to my and apparently, well my friends say so, I work really, really fast at night, I tend to do the same work twice as fast so now I see it more as an advantage. Cause I have a lot of spare time on my hands due to that and I found it much better to do more physical work / train at day as well as just relax and just do the mental work at night which seems to work for me.

      Sadly, a lot of work & schools aren't flexible with hours. The good thing is the world is changing a lot and many careers are becoming much more flexible! Especially jobs you can work at home - as long as you finish the work the time of day doesn't matter. So, it's going to get better!! 😁 ❤️

      @@giotphan9673 Maybe try doing simple stuff like some small tasks first, so when you begin with learning it doesn't become too late. It also might help to set everything ready for the next day, like preparing a meal, taking a bath and making your school bag, that way you can wake up later. It helped me when I went to school, so I hope it might help you too.

    Thank you so, so much! As a little girl I used to be an early bird and I liked it but at architecture school it all changed and now I'm a night owl. I hate feeling already tired at 2 pm when I wake up at 5 am. Besides, at night I get many (intellectual, academic, spiritual) things done because nobody bothers me! Everyone's sleeping and I can truly concentrate. Thanks for the tips!!!

    So glad I found this video!! I have a lot of trouble accepting being a night owl and am always beating myself up about not being able to ‘fit in’ with successful people and society’s schedules. Luckily I run my own business so I can make my own hours but it’s nice to know theres more people like me out there and that it’s okay to be this way :)

    I've been a night owl for as long as I can remember and often struggled with early work schedules. I'm a zombie until after my lunch break. Going to sleep early is just something I cannot do even if I tried. There were times I tried to be a morning person and do my yoga practice early which made me feel even more tired, so I stick to a night practice. I look forward to working freelance and setting my own schedule in the future.

    I once took classes in
    Digital Filmmaking
    & MultiMedia
    (at a school that no longer exists).
    One of the only reasons
    I was able to attend
    was that there was
    a schedule of night classes.
    Never missed a class or was
    late for scheduling reasons.
    In fact, I'd often want to stay later
    when school was closing
    at around 11P.M. or Midnight.

    I found that i figured a similar scheme out intuitively! I only struggle with the last one, set bedtime. I'm an artist, though it's not my source of income yet, and sometimes inspiration just chooses to strike at 2:30 when I am about to go to bed 😂 and i know if I don't record that song on my phone it's gonna slip away or something. Also when i have some intense insight i stay up very very late processing things, but it only happens every few months for a couple of nights in a row. Would you say some glitches here and there are okay if this is how my impulsive creativity works and as long as i have a baseline?

    I’m a full time college student and a night owl. Is it okay to have a different wake up time on a few days while keeping a main wake up time for my most of my days of the week? Is it possible to program my body to do that? Sometimes I need extra hours of sleep on some days because of being up late at night doing homework.

    • @SuzannaKayeOrganizing
      @SuzannaKayeOrganizing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the times are drastically different then it is very hard to have different sleep schedules throughout the week, Alexia. It will affect your ability to sleep effectively and to focus during the day. However, sometimes we simply need to do this temporarily in order to make it through to a goal. ❤️
      If at all possible try to schedule your classes so they are not early morning classes and that will work better with your natural rhythms. (I know that's not always possible.).
      Your going to do GREAT - especially since you're figuring out your own productivity rhythms earlier on in life. It will pay off in the long run!! 😁

Planning the day certainly doesn't help because by the time I realize I had a plan it's already lunch time. Just being awake during the morning makes the evening fucking miserable. • @alisontames884
      @alisontames884 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was the same way. You may be suffering from burnout, which is hard to recover from. It takes time and rest and maybe even a career change and obviously that’s easier said than done.
      It could also be diet related. When I had iron deficiency anemia I was tired all the time. Then I recovered from that, became vegan & developed severe protein deficiency (also B12) and my energy tanked again. If you can see a dietitian and tell them your main problem is lack of energy & brain fog, they can help diagnose the problem & suggest a diet or supplements to help you get back to feeling your energetic self. Or just talk to your regular physician who can run tests and rule out potential causes, but in my experience, general practitioners know very little about nutrition. At the very least, Google what foods to eat to increase energy, or try to adjust your caffeine intake schedule. Good luck!

    • @AmirGTR
      @AmirGTR 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alisontames884 Thank you, yes it does seem to be diet related. I been avoiding carbs and fasting to lose weight. I do feel much clearer now that I started carbs again but I'm also gaining weight like crazy. I sleep ealier and wake up a little later too, which does actually help 😅
