Shaun, as a longtime RN (& legal nurse consultant) I tell anyone who touches a chart this: When you finish your charting, that will be the last time you see that chart until you see it in court. Do it right, every time.
Shaun, thank you so much for all you do! Honestly you are the biggest inspiration to me and I’m sure the other almost 40k of us. Thank you a million times over! Please never stop!
Thank you for being so real and showing that it's normal to struggle on a new rotation! Very inspiring and love your positive attitude about the whole thing
Shaun this is a great video. You have continued to show how genuine you are without compromising your originality. One of the best medical creators out there and a true inspiration to us all. Don't change man and keep it up brother!
i am bookmarking this for next year for when I'm applying, this is too good; I have also been really curious about signaling, research and all of these different factors and I'm really happy that a video like this is out there - thank you for making this Shaun!
Not sure how I missed this one. Your shareing your journey is just amazing. Your vlogs are helping so many . I love how you tell it how it is. You hide nothing You make our days! Thank you.😊😊😊❤❤
Great video Shaun this is very helpful! Your application is crazy well done brother! I'll be putting in my top 0.5% Rank in Rocket league on my application in two years time
I luv watching your videos. I am a 60 year old woman who has had quite a few experiences at hospitals. I have had more bad experience than good. Please keep your bedside manner. I knowvit is difficult as Dr's see alot and work long hrs. But you chose this profession and all that comes with it. Dont forgetvthat most people that are in the hospital are vulnerable and need to be talked to with compassion. I have been diagnoise with a few things whilevin the hospital but never told what I can do to make that issue better. Patients everywhere are so happy we have google. Love what you do and spread that love to your patients.
Thanks so much for this. I’m applying IM for the match this year and I’m slowly getting through editing my ERAS but it’s daunting and I really appreciated this step by step walkthrough
Your research course sounds dope! as an M4 who’s felt/still feels lost about finding opportunities I wish it had been around when I started med school!
Great video, you are authentic, no drama, and original. Really appreciate your time committed to helping us all. Applying this cycle to competitive specialty. Hoping to match at my home program, any tips or ideas If it’s possible to match at your home program when your up against fellow students in your class? We all have great scores, does it come down to personality, experience, helpfulness?
I was the first to click on your video. However, I saw a mouse, screamed bloody murder and dropped my breakfast, tea, and medicines. Also, based on your encouragement, I am trying to look at ways how I can attend medical school. Thank you so much! I am also working on improving my health and fitness. Thank you so much. How are you doing? I have a formal request-Can you be my mentor for my journey to become a doctor, please?
That's terrifying but im glad you are okay hahaha thats great you're working on your health and fitness! I am always available for mentorship :) thats what this whole channel is!
@@ShaunAndersen I mean like on a 1-on-1. I am asking because you are no BS kinda person but also are kind and motivating and not discouraging. Would that be okay? I don't want my grades and other stuff out in public.
@@ShaunAndersen I actually ended up watching the whole video at 1x… very impressive extracurricular and publications, reminded me of Kevin Jubal’s list of publications. Congrats on your match!! For sure please keep making videos on your residency journey :)
