      Shared a Studio with Them In Northridge. When We Would Come In, It would Smell.like Great Stir Fry, I walked behind the board.....There was a Wok. I asked, "Is Someone Cooking in Here?" And our sound man replied, "Yeah, Tony Franklin" I thought....."Any Left?" Great Times.

      Absolutely. I hope John works out whatever is holding him back, pushes out the album & then, most of all, tours. I would love to see the original Blue Murder line up before I die. Having said that, I equally love to see the new outfit John has for his upcoming album. As to the tour, I'm sure I speak to all music fans here in Australia that John takes the show here so Australia can see him. Respect to you @Owen Ewards Guitar

    I think Ibenez is a under rated bass, all price ranges just started watching your channel, I think we have different music preferences but I am definitely a lot older then you, but I am no longer a professional bass player. I have 70's P and J and even a 66 Gibson EBO and Epiphone Thunderbird so you kind of know I am a hard rock guy, not hard core heavy metal, classic rock but do like other music. Sorry for the long comment I don't comment much, but I have a 15 year old Ibanez Sound Gear GSR 190 that I got from a friend just for a knock around, just grab and fool around and don't care if I hit something with it and I love the sound and playing it, I set it up did the fret ends that were not bad and the only money I put into was I changed the plastic nut to tusk and even threw some cheap rounds on it and that's it. Just shows you do not need to spend a lot of money on a bass or guitar, I also play guitar to have a playable instrument, but if you do play you really save money, you have to learn how to set it up on your own, the way you like it, anyway big fan of Always Sunny, nice touch, and as a 58 year old bass Player, I got some tips from you, again sorry for the long comment, thanks

      @@tonyvincent9753 there's also this thing called a "busy idiot". No-one denies his skills as a drummer I believe.
      But some things he says in interviews must raise a lot of eye-brows, at the very least.. See his reference to the Spinal Tap movie, how he ...."contributed in creating the Led Zeppelin drum sound"..
      Even his reference during this interview, how he was allegedly told that he has better fills than Cozy Powell.. Even if that were the case (I seriously doubt the amount of truth coming out of him).. You just don't go out and say something like that.

    • @tonyvincent9753
      @tonyvincent9753 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Dimitri, I first saw Carmine play in 1970. In 1972, I begged my drum teacher (who was Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons drummer for 5 years) to put me through Carmine’s book “Realistic Rock”. I thought the guy was a drum God! I finally met Carmine in 1976, again in the 80’s, and multiple times in the 2000’s. Each time I met him, he dropped another notch on my “Quality Guy” list. The last time I saw him was at his book signing at the Irridium in NYC. His book turned out to be nothing more than an expose’ on how many women he fucked during his rockstar career. It’s an awful piece of shit. He has one of the most flawed personalities I’ve ever experienced. He bullds himself up by throwing fork balls at everyone around him, even the guys in the band that gave him his big break.
