I just bought four Prarie bluebells. They look quite different from each other and not sure what they are supposed to look like, but one definitely looks like an Americana (ear tufts, eyeliner) A black, a grey, and a yellow/grey. They were bought to be pets; not to lay.
@@ronisbackyardchickens5305 Oh no! Would you mind sharing what happened to her? I have one in my flock (10 weeks old) and after I got her, I read that they can be more susceptible to illness. I hope not!
@@NJ_mom_NJ TBH I'm not 100% sure. She was fine in the morning when I went out. I came home and she always in the corner and had been pecked. I am assuming the others could tell she was sick. She had a really hard molt and I know sometimes that can make them weak. I wish I knew cause she was my fave and my first loss❤️
We have one that’s about 9.5 weeks old but the comb is already red & tiny waddles. I’m concerned it’s a rooster. Your girl is beautiful!
@@StayingWildWithKristyMarie good luck. I hope she's a hen❤️

Mine are pets also, their eggs are a bonus. Our girl was so sweet, unfortunately we lost her a few months ago 😞
