Some gripes: Kandon Beda was already a military base prior to 2.0 You didn't mention Fantastic Voyage in quests being reworked to talk about Lore more (sobbing) If we rotate the weapon models then we have to fix all the custom mobs that use those models and their animations, which is just about the most horrifying thing a Wynncraft Modeller can hear. I think it's a bit silly to dedicate four whole minutes to say "ability shards bad". It is such a specific and minor inconvenience that I'm left bewildered why people are so passionate about them. They should be removed, of course, but you'd think gripes about that would be put in a smaller miscellaneous segment as a quick mention of "these things are annoying to get and don't exist for any good reason".
Yeah. Not much i could say here. Still annoying as ever and to this day wondering why its even there when there is 0 value to their existence. It was also a bit more topical at the time and a lot of people wanted it gone so dedicating a bit more time and emphasis felt right during production. Now that the dust on the topic is settled it just comes across as a bit dragged out.
Ability shards are genuinely such a bad mechanic I unironically quit the game. I said it’s a step backwards and it is clear the community hates it. There is no “Meaningful choice”. There is just mistakes. I’ve said I will not return to wynn until removed. I don’t care that removing them would leave a item ingame, put a vendor ingame to sell them for 30 emerald or something. To completely disregard the feedback for so long is insane. I know it was addressed during beta, but to not only not change it but to double down on it is insane.
This seems really overdramatic for no reason lol. It's not like people go around resetting their ability points all the time, and even if they do ability shards are not hard to get, I have nearly a stack of them and my inventory keeps getting flooded with more
