  • This is my review of the Unihertz Pocket one month later! After using the Titan Pocket for one month, these are my thoughts. amzn.to/3kKR2HQ (Unihertz Titan - Amazon Affiliate Link)
This is my long term review of the Unihertz Titan Pocket after using it for the last month. I made my initial Unihertz Titan Pocket review and this is the follow up another month since my last review. The Unihertz Titan Pocket is the latest and greatest android smartphone with a physical keyboard and looks very much like a BlackBerry Classic, but it's not. The Unihertz Titan Pocket runs Android 11 and has a lot of neat things going for it, especially the $299 price tag once you can pick one up later this year.

I miss real BB/RIM devices. I think they just simply waited too long or didn't put enough/any marketing toward regular people and were banking on their enterprise services to carry them.

Love it. I hate social media. I went from being super tech savvy and having the latest greatest to buy the cheapest phone and not giving a crap about the internet cuz it's stupid. I miss the old early 2000s or late 90s and it was simple it was highest and people are actually knew how to use the internet inside us being a bunch of sheep and followers being catfished, fest, Hoodwinked and phished. SIMPLICITY is making a comeback.

I agree with you fella, there are loads of people who just want a device to make calls, send texts, send more dvanced messages (whatsapp/fb messenger), email with it, and maybe just play entertaining 'time killer' games... and that phone looks unique, I personally would be happy with the Titan pocket, or even the full tank Titan! And going on the section where you showed off the shortcut keys, the time it took to load the app after you pressed the key, seemed quick enough for me, and I guess, a lot of people..... 😏😎

Also, Unihertz is selling a TPU case for this device. Also, a somewhat selfish idea, can you do a video where you "model" the phone, like hold it up to your ear, hold it in one hand, mock typing etc? Does it have keyboard shortcuts similar to bb? As example, D for notes, L for calendar etc? I don't care if they use different keys but would like something. If Onward Mobil doesn't come out with a phone I think this Titan might be good (or even better/ cheaper) for my needs

Are you able to download the BB hub on this phone? I want to replicate the BB experience as much as possible. Four attributes of BB I don't want to live without: physical keyboard, hub, gorilla glass (never had a broken phone in 15 years) and security. Does Deltek come with this phone? What security software does the phone use? Can you do another video showing us the typing experience and launching a text message or email? Thanks.

I got the unihertz Titan Pocket. Honestly, it is worse than the key2 in every possible way except battery life. It is still very very clunky in your pants pocket. There is a massive bulge in your pants that looks awful, and it still seems a lot heavier, in your pants, than it should be considering the actual weight of it (I think it is 216g vs key2 at 169g). However the key2 is way way way more pocket friendly, it is hard to even tell I have a phone in my pocket with the key2, while the titan pocket is this huge huge bulge in my pants. And try sitting down. The feel of the titan in your pants pocket is 400-500g. That's a huge deal unless you don't carry your phone in your pants pocket. The keyboard is ok, but not as nice to type on as the key2. The key2 is able to run the citra 3ds emulator, the pocket is not. My titan pocket would not scroll using the keyboard even though it is advertised that it does and I was not able to figure out how to scroll by swiping my thumb across the keyboard. Key 2 you can. You can scroll with web browsers using the spacebar and shift + spacebar on both devices. The battery life is really something though, better than any other phone I've ever tried or had. It is much more enjoyable to read even just text on the larger screen of the key2. So with the titan pocket, I hope you have really good eyes. I had to increase the font size. But still there is a reason why chunky phones are not sold. People don't like them. In the end, we are talking about MOBILE devices, not tablets that you have to store in a bag or purse. If I had space I would just use a tablet or a laptop, why wouldn't I? It is all about mobility for phones. This is about as practical for your pocket as carrying a switch lite (i.e. not very practical at all). So it is kind of funny they call it the titan pocket when it is the worse phone I've ever tried for my pocket, with the exception of the original unihertz titan. I turned off the animation scale on my key2 and uninstalled all unneeded apps and it is very snappy. Why would I need android 11? Don't see any benefit, although maybe someone has a benefit in mind. I would recommend getting a used key2 instead, I found one (my old key2 spacebar broke) for about $350.
