- A fairly short video for everyone. These tips are extremely general and not meant to go into too many specifics because I already have so many videos that go over boss mechanics, strategies, and more advanced combat tips that can also be applied to all of the bosses in the pantheons. Enjoy!

Ya ever thought about making another boss ranking but based on radiant difficulty?
Silksong will relive you of your burdens.
Another tip is that the downslash/upstrike or regular attack mechanic can be used to parry an attack. Now it is something that you need to time just right but it is possible to do so. It even damages the enemy . This was something I didn't know despite knowing the downslash.

Smart move from him, my best radiant out of the five is Troupe leader Grimm, and it took ages. My best kn radiance is phase 3 and I cant even get to phase 2 anymore

He was one of the biggest run-killers for me. And as if he wasn't bad enough you have to fight GPZ immediately after unless you skipped him.
@@cameroncooper5941 Other than Absolute Radiance, definitely the scariest part of PoH for me. Even though I am able to get by most of the time now.
UGH don't even remind me. I had gotten to the point where I relatively consistently beat AbsRad, but Markoth killed me EVERY SINGLE TIME AFTER THAT! Then I broke my thumb and haven't been able to play since... so I still haven't beat it...
I actually never died to no floor Markoth in the pantheon. I only died 7 times in it anyways.

As someone who has beaten Pantheon of Hallownest, allow me to give you a tip:
*Don't.*
Absolute Radiance is the only one keeping me from my victory for PoH. I swear, her and ascended/radiant Markoth are the only two bosses I outright hate in this game!

Too late! There was a time when I was convinced I would never do the final pantheon. Guess what, now, I've done 33 bosses on radiant difficulty, I did all the bindings for pantheons 1-4 individually, and I plan to do the same for the pantheon of Hallownest. Things changed.
Exactly, rewatching my clip of beating the pantheon (specificaly the end) still gives me anxiety

Tip: you can pogo off failed champions armour to reset his stagger time so you can pogo off his armor and then dreamnail indefinitely.
You can also dream nail him indefinitely once you down him for the third time

I feel you, I just picked up HK again and decided I want to do Pantheons.
Don't mind it. I did the "lesser" pantheons after around 30 tries and lots of practice and the same amount added for almost each binding. Nail is easiest, charm is hardest for me.

I died 5 times total to do the 16 bindings for the four first pantheons(not counting the times I died to do them normally, a few months ago), twice to Grey prince Zote, twice to Watcher Knights and once to Pure Vessel, and even that was annoying as heck.

That guy beat the Pantheon of Hallownestin under 18 minutes, and currently holds the world record for 112%.
He's also one of the dozen-odd people known to have beaten the Pantheon of Hallownest HITLESS. 😵
He beat every boss on Radiant difficulty. Respect increased by 100 times
Heya, just wanted to say that you can still skip Gray Prince Zote without leaving him to die in greenpath! You simply just don't have to beat him in order to skip him, so if your going for 112%, remember that grey prince DOESN'T contricute to it, so skipping him in dirtmouth skips him in the pantheon.

pantheon 1: don't get stuck in a corner against the nailmasters
pantheon 2: literally just have eyes and you're good
pantheon 3: dont get greedy with your hits against sly
pantheon 4: make sure you have tissues next to you so you don't break your keyboard when you break down crying after dying on pure vessel's last phase for the 7th time
pantheon 5: dont
I actually died more times in the third pantheon than in the fifth, and that's because Galien followed by Grey prince Zote is insanely hard to me.
Even if you save zote in greenpath, he still won't appear in the pantheon until you beat the dream version in dirtmouth. It is very helpful. I am currently working on abs rad, and have never beaten grey prince zote.
Small tip: Save your soul towards the end of Pure Vessel, and don't heal at the end. You auto heal for AbsRad, and if you have enough soul you should be able to completely skip her first phase by using abyss shriek

I always like to keep my health somewhat decent in case I already get unlucky with several consecutive hits!
Here is the charm loadout I have when it comes to... well everything!
Shape of Unn + Quick focus + Deep focus + One two-notch/two one-notches charms!
This setup was helpful for me to take care of literally everything in Hallownest the moment I found it out!
These three charms together synergize into the most powerful combo in all of Hallownest!!!
With Shape of Unn and Quick focus; in Slug form you will heal quickly and move super fast!(but still use quite a bit of soul)
With quick focus and deep focus together you will heal at the normal speed but for the normal amount of soul your healing output will be doubled!
Put the charms together and you get: fast mobility from shape of Unn + double healing!(meaning you get maximum evasion as well as maximum healing output)!
And if you want an OP snail, add baldur shell!🤩😍🤩😍
If you want a slug that absolutely reeks, add Spore Shroom + Defender's Crest!😎👌
These three charms are so powerful together yet are so overwhelmingly unheard-of/unappreciated! I Recommend you try it yourself when healing, the results may surprise you! 😎👌
(Side note: I always get aggravated when I see people synergize Quick focus and Shape of Unn, I'm always just like: "okay now add Deep focus. Add Deep focus! Fricken add Deep focus already!!!")🤣
Sure you do get Auto healed when heading to absolute radiance,
But I still like to keep my shell at tip top shape during the fight!
I will know not to heal during the transition to absolute radiance though!
Just expect me to always find an opportunity to heal during the pure vessel fight! 🤣

I've beaten the game at least twice now, but by no means can I even beat absolute Radiance on regular difficulty in the hall of gods, let alone ascended, LET ALONE IN THE 5TH PANTHEON!!!
Too many moving things on the screen, moving too fast, AT ONCE! I get disoriented easily...
That charm Loadout at least gives me an opportunity to recuperate well at the same time be able to still Dodge attacks swiftly....
Unless it's nightmare King Grimm on ascended difficulty; then I just get stomped to death in 3 seconds. the most I was able to last was 2 minutes, but that was only after staggering him twice.....
One more tip: You don’t need to defeat the God Tamer at the end of the Colosseum of Fools to unlock Pantheon 3. So the Trial of the Fool is optional if you’re going for the Pantheons
But it *isn't* optional if you're going for the platinum OTL
If you can do the third pantheon, you can do the trial of the fool.
Agree to disagree ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I personally found the floorless section of the Fool really difficult - once I actually got past that properly I was fine though. Not everyone's going to have the same gaming experience.

but seriously when I first saw that I died inside, he can make it so difficult to heal when I had floor space to runaround, the rest of it may be fine but I remember getting to him, sans a few masks and most my soul, and panicking so hard (I had blew a few too many spells on failed champion, bad idea)
Practicing bosses on Ascended is very good practice, and you also get to fight some of the most ‘fun’ bosses in the game that way, like Ascended Watchers Knights and their gargantuan 3,600 health. For comparison, Absolute Radiance has 2,200

I picked up Hollow Knight again and started doing the pantheons, so thank you, this is actually just what I need lol. I just beat Sly and Pure Vessel pantheons, so I might attempts the Pantheon of Hallownest now. I totally feel the "you're not fireb0rn". I adore watching Hollow Knight speedruns, so sometimes I have to remind myself to chill and be patient with a boss, that there's literally no time limit and I shouldn't rush. I'm honestly not too scared of the last pantheon at this point, I've beat all bosses (besides Radiance who won't unlock till I get to her) on ascended. But I am scared of... Markoth. Not PV or NKG. Markoth. I want my floor. ALSO I read that about Zote, and I think it would make it much easier, but I don't want to replay the whole game just to cheese the pantheon. Might as well have GPZ in there for further bragging rights.

If you're looking for more ideas for hollow knight videos one concept I thought of was "best rooms in each area in hollow knight". For example, royal waterways is one of the more annoying places in Hallownest but my favourite room in the area is the broken elevator shaft, the way that colour and audio changes as you descend or ascend between the city of tears or the ancient basin is incredible and memorable. The broken elevator at the bottom is also very striking as well. In hollowing cliffs my favorite room has to be Joni's repose for the beautiful blue butterflies and ambience. The favourite room doesn't have to be due to its aesthetic either, it could be due to any number of reasons. Just an idea, ignore it if you like.

The main reason I gave up on the final pantheon is Markoth with no floor, it is the one boss I've never beaten consistently, but also I wanted to play a lot of other games, now I'm just waiting for Silksong.

you can also skip GPZ by letting zote in danger in deepnest
Even if you save zote in greenpath, save him in deepnest, or fight him in the colosseum, as long you don't beat Grey Prince Zote in bretta's basement, you don't have to fight him in pantheons.

The charm build that finally got me through the Pantheons was: Quick Focus, Deep Focus, Shape of Unn, Grubsong and Spore Shroom (just for good measure). All that leaves so much margin for error like you wouldn't believe. Felt like cheating at times.

Thanks for the tip of taking on a boss until you've beaten it 6 to 7 times in a row. (Certainly explains why I haven't beaten Pantheon 4 yet. Pure Vessel has been kicking my ass, although I don't mind it much, cool boss design and amazing fight.)
I find that I do better when I rush myself, if I take my time I tend to get hit more and get more frustrated

I legitimately got most of the way through the final pantheon on my first try using shape of unn, thorns, baulder shell, spore shroom and quick focus and it's actually kinda good lol
I used deep focus for the last three segments of the pantheon. Healing charms are underrated.

i think completing everything in the pantheon prepares you to play Steel Soul Mode

There's a glitch I found with lifeblood while doing the Pantheon of Hallownest which may or may not be patched by now. If you only have one lifeblood mask and take a hit which does two damage, you lose the lifeblood, AND two masks of your actual health. Essentially, the game reads you taking two damage, takes the lifeblood, and applies the damage to your health bar as if you never had lifeblood to begin with.
If you have trouble with absrad try using baldur shell in your build, it allows you to heal with almost no risk whatsoever. Also on the later parts of PoH I would suggest pausing and taking a break to “unphysc “yourself

Same I just went through every single boss with Mark of pride, shaman, unbreakable strength, nail masters glory, and dream nail and didn't bother to change them at all

I used Hiveblood and took things slow on hard bosses, than it becames way easier, because even absolut radiance and other dubble damage bosses now only remove 1 mask if you just focus one doging for a time after a hit, also it may be an unpoplura opinion but i think hiveblood is really really good for any Pantheon and other activities!
I always wanted to dabble more with Hiveblood, but I could never cope with permanently loving parts of my health bar until I reached the next bench while exploring the parts of Hallownest I hadn't gotten to yet. Maybe I should try that for the pantheons and see if it works better there.
