I drove a 2015 Limited version ("base" model, "base" in quotes because it actually had a lot of equipment)... very comfortable... my only complaints I had about it were that, for $30k, it didn't have a backup camera OR remote start... features that cars costing less than $30k but not less than $25k include as standard equipment... otherwise, though, for being black-on-black in the 90+ degree Texas heat when we had it for a trip to San Antonio back in 2015, the A/C was strong and kept us cool the whole time were were driving it, even after it sat in the sun for several hours at a time. :)
I agree, for that kind of money you should get remote start standard. Just out of curiosity, did you find the ceiling a bit low? I kept brushing my head against it while I was driving.
No, believe it or not, I was very comfortable. It's still a very good car minus not having remote start or a backup camera (backup camera has been fixed for 2018, as it is now required to be standard on all cars starting this model year).
I have this exact same car he's vlogging about!! Color, wheels, year and the whole fancy package except blind spot and out of lane detection monitoring. I love my/this car😎
I once owned a 2007 Chrysler 300 touring. I still miss that car, has no where near the amount of bells and whistles these new ones have! I prefer the older design tho. When I was looking for a "new" car I would of considered getting one again if I found one with low enough millage in my price range, but also with AWD, the Canadian winters I suffer though demand that. Had a hard time in my 07 at winter. But I love luxury cars! This time around I went with a 08 Mitsubishi Lancer, handles amazing and I love it's appearance. But maybe next time.
100 Rental Cars I still do love my Lancer, it's one of the best handling cars I've owned. Suspensions is more on the firm side. But this is coming from someone who prefers a luxury car normally. I've driven plenty of cars with much worse suspension. So I wouldn't say it's bad. Plus the trade off is great handling! Not the fastest car, they look faster then they are. Unless you got the evo version. Bells and whistles I know even a 2017 lancer is lacking. Because they never did much to update them since their last revision in 08, but depends on the trim. Even my 08 mid range has things like heated seats and stuff. I still love my lancer, it's a little angry looking car. Doesn't matter if you look at it in the front or the rear. It's glaring at you! Haha If you can find a rental one I recommend hopping into it before there all gone. Their last year was 2017, so might still be a few left to rent maybe. Would love to hear what you think!
Would you choose the 300 or impala? I'm shopping both. I'm partial to gm but awd would be nice. One more question which v6 has more power between the 2
I rented one of these today, while I love it, I hate the fact that navigation is NOT a standard item. The "apps" tab kept telling me I had to use my credit card and call to get it set up. That's my only disappointment.
My 2014 300 RWD gets from lowest 23.4 to 24.5 city.. Stop and go red light to red light in Chicago.. Onmy way back home from Florida it was hitting 38.ish... It's great I love it.. Gas mileage is just great on these 3.6... This 14 300 can run on e85 but I noticed it actually gets worst mpg.. City with normal driving it was getting 20.2/ 21.4 highest.. I thought it would get batter mpg but boy that's sure not the case.. 👎🤔..
24 mpg in the city is pretty fantastic for a car this size. At least, in my opinion. I can't remember, does the 300 have a screen to show you mpg? Or are you calculating this yourself? Just curious. ✌️
100 Rental Cars .. Yes the 2014 is the year before the change but it still has a little screen in the middle cluster and it has all your info there. And yes that is great mpg.
E85 will never get you more MPG it has less energy per gallon than gasoline. It can give more power however because the octane rating of E85 is much higher. Cars with turbos or highly modified engine will often run E85 for this reason.
Old video and didn't read all the comments. The clock is a throw back to the original 300. Some of the premium (not sure of the package) town and county mini vans have it to.
Im looking to buy a large sedan. And my choices are Ford Taurus, Chevrolet Impala or Chrysler 300,looking at top trims, used, between 1-2 years old. I live in Canada and AWD is preferred( Impala is FWD only, but people are recommending it ) What is your opinion? I only tried the Taurus, but 2013 model,it was a rental car .I acutely like it very much. The space inside is a bit small. I'm 6'2" and maybe because of that. Thanks
Hi NinoTech, out of your three choices I would choose the Chevy Impala. It's by far my favorite. Just be aware that Chevy has stopped making the Impala.. And you might also consider checking out the Ford Fusion. I'm a BIG fan of the Hybrid Titanium model. Good luck with your purchase! I hope you'll come back and let me know what you ended up with. Cheers!
2500 miles!?! Wow. That sounds amazing. All three are good cars, but I'd rank them as follows: #1 Impala, #2 Maxima, #3 300c. I think the Impala is the best equipped and the most comfortable, but honestly, you'd be fine in a Maxima or 300. Enjoy the road trip!
Thanks for the recommendation. I just came back and was very happy with the Maxima. I was able to choose between the 300s and the Maxima, so I chose the Maxima SL. The handling was superb and acceleration was perfect for driving through mountain roads. I also loved all the technology and safety features that made my trip easier. Cheers
I bought this car exactly one year ago in June and I love it.
Nice. Congratulations!
I know it is kind of off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Aldo Gannon Meh I'd suggest flixportal. you can find it by googling :P -kalel
@Kalel Trevor Thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :) I really appreciate it!!
@Aldo Gannon Happy to help :D
Just bought one today , great deal 20k out the door . Thanks to this video ! Made a great purchase today
Is it a new one or used one?
You are awesome. Great review as always.
Decent review, however the digital clock that annoyed you being under the analog clock can be removed in the settings.
I believe that this is a 2016 model. The 2017 Chrysler 300 has the upgraded Uconnect system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
2:45 "The steering wheel is a nice circular shape..." Wow! That's a neat feature.
Yeah, that wasn't my smartest moment. In my defense, I did review a Camero that har a steering wheel with a flat bottom once...two years ago. 😉
@@100RentalCars I remember late 50's Chrysler Imperials had OVAL steering wheels. Great channel, BTW! Subscribed.
Thanks for the love!

I own this car and I think you did a smashing job of capturing and relaying its nature and features.
👍
Thanks Farid!
Hopefully getting mine in the next couple days, looks exactly like this one

You cant beat the price for a luxury car. And I'm sure itll be cheaper to fix than an audi or bmw
This would have made a great 2018 Green Hornet Black Beauty with a few design changes.
I have the limited and love it!
Nice! Congratulations!
Great review...Chrysler made cars are always my favorite. What’s yours?
Would you choose the 300 or impala? I'm shopping both. I'm partial to gm but awd would be nice. One more question which v6 has more power between the 2
I’m currently asking the same question. Which one did you go with? How’s it treating you?

I’m about to buy this car I think
This car is cool I just couldn’t see actually leasing another FCA product right now.

“The steering wheel is a nice circular shape”
did he say "the car boots up pretty quickly"?
Sorry about whatever happened when you were filming this.
Thanks Ryan. All is well.
That's good.
I'm planning on going on a 2500 mile road trip. Would you recommend renting the 300, Impala or Maxima?

What does the “C” in 300C mean???
ega0117 online said, “corporation”
How much is it to rent ?
This was a while ago, but I typically spend $30 to $45 on each rental through Enterprise.
@@100RentalCars thank you
100 rental cars i had to have a 300 as a rental for three weeks.
"Had to"? That's doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement. You didn't like it?
100 Rental Cars not really.
Omg dis a nice car i want it
Amen.
Chryslers still exist?
9 cars for your goal
I really dislike Chrysler's dial transmission. It is definitely not intuitive.
Unfortunately, they have a pretty poor reliability record.
I build part of this car
...which part?!?!
100 Rental Cars dashboard doors and Consol
The reliability is awful for Chryslers
