I love the destroyers started to find their roles and give some nice insights they are not bad at all! Great work Benzie as usual thank you for sharing this fits :)
Thank you! One of the ships that will always hold a special place in my heart from the "early" days was the Cat Navy II. Made my day to see this. Had a bp forever it it feels like now. But just wasn't excited to build it. But, now I'm literally having one built as soon as I finish typing this. Fly safe-"ish" o7
Ganking in a destroyer dictor is fun when using a stealth module. Can decloak and immediately drop dictor bubble to trap while waiting for 30 second delay. Great at not being detected by ceptor pilots and getting industry ships easily.
Math was a little off with the damage bonus 12.5×5 is 62.5 not 75. But it's still a ship I'm excited for. It's the next ship on the build queue for my Corp
I originally skilled into destroyers hoping they would counter frigates. It's good to see they have received a little love but they still need more it seems. Thank you for the destroyer content.
First ship I went looking for when the update was announced. Love it. Even better was trading Long john my Exe Breeze II core for his Catalyst Breeze II core. Even caused me to skill some into interdiction for the first time.
@@captainbenzie Riiight. Amazing how fast that happened. Until the update I was like, "what do I need Propulsion Jamming for...pffff" Fast forward a couple of years...."Why will this not go any faster!!!"
Always liked the Catalyst hull. A Catalyst Guardian was the first “bling” ship I built back when the game started. Unfortunately due to the way the game mechanic worked and my alliance doctrines I mostly skipped destroyer skills to jump to cruisers. Didn’t help that I was trying to do Indy and pvp on one char back then.
I use the Stabber Fleet Issue for PVP and it only costs me 90mio. ISK. I once killed someone in a Bellicose II Covert Ops and the KM was worth 600mio. ISK :)
can the coercer iii interdicter clear anoms just like your catalyst iii interdicter or were the skills different aside from the bonus high slots skills
Benzie, you always talk about doing specials with small ships like this, I’ve never been able to square that. I get waxed by elites with a small ship because they invariably have strong neut/nos so you can’t get close to them, and even with long range weapons, you can’t get out of their ewar range or their tracking speed with catch up to you. Even taking a long time to spread the ships out so you are basically taking on one ship at a time, my strategy has always been basically to out tank the enemies, and let decent dps get the job done. How do you get t6+ specials done in a ship like this?
Yeah. Guristas don’t hit as hard on ewar as others but still seems like any elite cruiser is gonna have tackle and a nos. And that is death of anything sub cruiser. And their tracking for the non missile boats is insane. An elite ferox will easily hit anything going less than 2000 at about 10km with a full strength strike, and anything faster still takes glancing blows
"Make sure u have fuel in ur fuel tank" at that moment I instantly imagined a catalyst casually filling it's tank in a gas station 😂

Loved clearing T9 S/I anoms w/ Incursus AF when I first moved out to null.. fun over efficiency always!

Really like your new editing style!

@@captainbenzie Thx o7
You may actually presuade me to get into a brawler with this one. Have yet to use railguns tbh, but i’ll train into m 😉
Truly a great sight! Now they just need to raise the bottom up on the lower tech destroyers.

The only reason to go this still is the sphere launcher the daredevil pumps out the same dps smaller faster and cheaper
Have a comment :)
