Sorry but I put hood not hob. However what I would like to know is can I plug the hob unit into that cooker Socket. As I understand it if you run the cable from the consumer unit to the cooker Socket and then to the plain box that I don't know the name of, and then from there to the cooker, that wires up the cooker but the Socket is designed to take a plug so can I plug the hob unit into that? That way both the cooker and the hob unit would be fed from the same cable from the consumer unit and if so what size cable is correct. Thank you for your reply, I did enjoy the video only when you started quoting letters and numbers I was a bit lost at that point.
