"If This World Were Mine" was originally penned by Marvin Gaye in 1967, a duet with Tammie Terrell; on the United album! This version by Cheryl and Luther is still the bomb 40 years later today! It was waxed on Columbia Records in 1983; Big Sis Brenda bought a 45 single, and played it almost every time she & her friends had card games!!
Bntn Hrbr native, Alida White, was in her last year of school and a security guard in 1983! It still reminds me of her, when Brenda adopted me & Nancy in March of that year! She's incompacitaded now; this happened some 20+ or so yrs ago in Lawrenceville, Georgia!!
