We have lost classmates, teachers, friends, parents, siblings, spouses, and even children and grandchildren. 50 years ago in May, 1973, my classmates and I graduated from Enterprise High School. These are some of the songs that we listened to. The whole world was in front of us. Now, 50 years later, some are wives, husbands, parents, grandparents, great grandparents. We have lived from the middle of the 1900's and going on toward a third of the 2000's. We have lost classmates, teachers, friends, parents, siblings, spouses, and even children and grandchildren. I can close my eyes and be back in 1973, with bell bottoms, halter tops, afro's, listening to these sounds and others. She pointed out particularly when I was a teenager and started listening to hip hop music how many songs sampled the beats! 😅 She just passed away in September at 68 years old from heart disease, but I am very grateful that she showed me this beautiful music 😊
