  • FRANCE 24 spoke to the former head of Saudi #intelligence, Turki al-Faisal, following the announcement that #Iran and #SaudiArabia have agreed to reestablish diplomatic relations. The prince expressed hope that last week's China-brokered deal will be a game-changer for the region, mentioning Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and especially Yemen, where a deadly conflict has resulted in the world's worst humanitarian crisis. The former ambassador to the US and UK also explained why China was "the logical partner" in making the deal happen.

      If some day there is peace in the middle east, than the entire middle east will be very rich and the economies in the USA and Europe will go down. Therefor there will never be peace in the middle east, not because the people in the middle east don't want it, but because the hidden hands of the West (including Israel) will prevent it to save their economy from collapsing !!!! This government has brought a disaster to us that many Iranians leave Islam and even those who remain Muslim are not accepted as Muslims in the Islamic society because they behave in ways that are against Islam.

    • @careyfreeman5056
      @careyfreeman5056 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. We're done. This is prime evidence of that. It's actually a natural fit as China is in the position (importing all their oil from the Gulf) the US was 20-50 years ago. We buy some Saudi oil, but mostly as a favor and because most of our refineries are tooled to refine their crap oil. We have plenty of our own oil and it's the best quality in the world. These things are not coincidence. US is done with the ME.

    • @libertas5005

      USA is broke AF, they simply couldn't afford another war. If they do open up another front in Middle East they'd be making the same mistake Hitler did in 1940s by attacking both Russia and Western Europe.

    There are 57 Muslim states in the world today. That equates to over 1.8 billion people. Every Muslim country should cooperate and get along with each other. They should also have their own currency like the EU as well as a NATO like military alliance. They should also loan each other money for development and prosperity.
    If these Muslim states don't look after each other, who will?
