That was my most requested song when he was revealed in smash 4. When Sakurai had a MegaMan spotlight in the first Smash direct, I remember how the MegaMan splashscreen appeared with this theme kicking in right after I was so hyped despite not hearing the full theme then.
I was just getting into Mega Man at the time, I literally asked in the comments section of that video if this song could be a mix in Smash 4 not knowing this was the Smash remix...

This song was arranged by the composer unit ACE, known for the Xenoblade chronicles.
Spark Man is weak to shadow blade because these blades can cut through Spark Man's delicate circuitry and cause his electrical power feedback on himself.
I'll keep that in mind.

The whole Magnet Missle/Shadow Blade/Spark Shock circle always felt backwards to me, since the Magnet conducts electricity, the Light overcomes Darkness, and Shadow Blade would be magnetic; but whatever...

I remember playing Smash 4 on the WII U with my cousin and this banger would come on and we'd both be jamming out even tho we had no idea who Spark Man is or where he's from.

Spark Man was a robot built from leftover parts Wily had remaining after upgrading Top Man. He's got several exposed wires, so the Shadow Blade can slice his lifeline easily
Idk why people dislike the ones who explain the robots weaknesses, I think it's fun

@civilwildman we need your explanation of how a shadow blade can beat sparks! Is it cuz if you use a bunch of shurikens to create shadows, nobody can see the sparks?
I would say because it’s a Shadow Blade, and it because of how the darkness triumphs over the light personally
@@chucklesmcgee5693 I think its because how elec man was weak to r. cutter, spark man would be weak to a blade weapon, since he is like elec man.
It's basically cutting circuitry, like the Rolling Cutter was with Elec Man. Spark Shot is the secondary weakness because several sparks coming from different locations, all interacting with the same circuitry, is a recipe for disaster.

@@ajsgodlike310 Only in the GB version since you can actually go to the weapon menu select even when the enemy is electrocuted with the spark shock but in the original nes version you can’t do that and it doesn’t kill enemies not even small enemies.

@@Oscade272 As a kid, I used it on the hopping monkeys and the big stomper guys, though I readily acknowledge that those aren't necessarily the "optimal" way to deal with those enemies (and even if they were, that's still very limited usability).
