- This 2009 film, produced by Jami Mari Clayman, features history, video clips, and photos from the OV-10 service in Vietnam. The film highlights interviews with many pilots, ground crew, and supported troops, including Marines Bill Beckett and K.P. Rice, the two inventors of the Bronco.
Much of the film features the OV-10 Bronco Association's receiving and reassembling their first Bronco for Cal Fire.
This is the first time the full video has been available since 2015.
Worked these babies on their last stop - the 507th TACW. Very proud to have been part of the legacy. Got one incentive ride, and it sealed my path for aviation.
We appreciate everything you guys do at the museum to keep history alive. Well done video.
Theres a privately owned one at Carson City, Nevada Airport. Loved watching it fly.
Cool little aircraft with a lot of versatility. We still had them flying in the early 90's at New River.
My Uncle talked about the plane am the time. He had a job at the Lewis Research center and was in charge of all the planes in the big hangar: OV-10, Leer jet, the DC-9, and the Twin Otter. I think he rode on the vomit comet once, as well. When I got to see the planes in the hangar.I saw this plane and I thought it was so cool looking. I had never seen anything like it and I had no idea its wonderful history.
Great little documentary. Well done!
