Welp. Still a pretty memorable game tbh, even despite the god level difficulty ...Well, actually, that might as well contribute to it. Gives an elusive aura to those bosses, like they're immensely powerful and you can't quite get close to them. I would definitely not pay attention as much if they were easier Sucks for the player though
It does, yeah. The patterns are still really unbalanced, but (most of the time, at least) some creative abuse of design oversights or the flashbomb mechanic can get you through. I find it pretty fun to mess with this game probably because it's rough around the edges and you have room to mess around with stuff and have a decent chance of finding something unintended that works. There *are* some really stupid design decisions that just can't be saved, though. Stage 7 heavily features giant knives with t-shaped hitboxes, for example... (you can search up other videos if you want to see them in action, but it's particularly bad on the stage 7 final.)
