Thanks a lot, man! Now I know how to play the French Defense, and I'll start practicing. Looking forward to watching your other openings videos to learn more!
Your Voice is so clear man. And you covered very important parts of french defence. THANK YOU very much. This helps me a lot to improve my french play and tomorrow tmt. Thanks again.
I love these videos, ever since 2019 ive been living in a deeply depressive state. However these videos have SAVED me. Every time Volclus uploads it is a beautiful sight to see. I cry tears of joy as i am EDUCATED on the inner works of chess. I was SHATTERED when I learned he died in 2996 as a result of not being raptured up to heaven like those who practiced under god. R.I.P.
Hi, I love your videos! They are easy to remember and entertaining and informative. Maybe, just one suggestion, modern defense soon? It's a fascinating opening yet there are basically no videos on it. Just a suggestion :) Either way, keep making videos! You are helping the chess community a lot!
Yo bro, I play OTB tournaments and I used to play the modern. Its a terrible opening, trust me I know from my terrible experiences. Don't play it ever in your life, you regret it. I'm happy that I'm alive to tell the tale bro 💀💀💀
Your videos are very educational. I've been playing the queen's gambit for awhile now and I've gotten a better grasp of it thanks to you.😁 My issue is that I have quite the difficulty playing black against the queen's pawn so I would appreciate it if you could make a video for an opening against the queen's pawn. One against the london too😁
Your videos are incredible. Thank you for everything you are doing for the chess community. Can you please consider doing videos on English opening (c4) and/or Owen defense (b6). Thanks for considering.
Thanks man, I play the French (my best opening, amazing as I can play e6 vs d4) and tbh got too lazy to watch all of Hanging Pawn's theory videos. May do that eventually, but you helped me know what to do in the schlecter and advance main line. I normally play the Rubinstein vs the tarrasch, paulsen and 2 knights, but I know where to go if I want to learn more fighting variations.
thanks enjoyed the tutorial.. couple of things being a very low level player... at 20.53 most times players are going to take the rook with the knight, and sacrifice the other rook.. also 99% of the time when I play, when playing bishop to b4 to put pressure on the knight I see pawn a3 kicking away the bishop again Im very low level as with most of these types of tutorials. people never really play the lines as 'expected' but try8ing out the French defense now!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Can you make a beginner/ intermediate Ruy Lopez video? Maybe system-based, or a few different systems (eg. Anti-Berlin against Berlin, maybe the same style setup against all closed Ruy Lopez variations) just to make the Ruy Lopez a bit simpler and easier to play. Thanks, and again, Merry Christmas!
My next opening suggestions; English , King's Indian Defense , Catalan. Much appreciated on these videos brother we need to make a statue of yours for your splendid efforts on your videos. Thank you very much
Hey mate! Are you taking a break? Haven't seen a new video from you in a while. I miss them dearly! Anyways, merry christmas (if you celebrate it) and hope to see you back eventually
I did not see the Winawer variation and the McCutcheon variation here. The play in those variations can get complicated with black having to sacrifice the exchange. Unless you know what you are doing it can get nasty
I'm a bit late for this aren't I? But if I can still help, the French is more dynamic than the Caro Kann in general, but you can still get fighting games with either. However if you are an attacking player and you need sharp positions, play the Sicilian defence (Accelerated Dragon or Taimanov are my suggestions) or a hyper modern opening like the Pirc, Modern, Owen, or Alekhine. None of them are that sound, but it's almost guaranteed that you will have a significant prep advantage unless you are at high level.
I watched a recent lecture on mccutcheon variation where after queen g4 for white you simply defend the g pawn with your king f8. Maybe you didn’t cover this line because it is too complicated? I watched some GM games on this and it seemed complicated 😂
Some of the moves you are suggesting in this video arent very accurate. For example when u Na4 then Qa5+, The Knight isn't forced to go back to c3 white can just play Bd2 and your position is quite unpleasant. Other than that most of the theory is correct. Thanks for the Video!

Have you tried the winawer against classical? (Nc3)
@@GigaShiv no, I heard its too complicated and it would be the last variation of the main line that I would learn.

hey man i love the fonts that you are using!
@0:00
I wish I could be awarded double-exclams when I open with e6....
Some of these lines ive NEVER seen any other chess youtubers play. BRAVO! How can i contact you to set up coaching/lessons?
Volclus, i think a video on Alekhine's defense qould be very interesting!
At 25:52 What If Queen Doesn't Take bishop And Simply Move The King 🙂🙂😅
Nice video! Could you please make a video on the opening called the norwegian rat/the norwegian defense please?
Thank you so much for making this video, i will surely try the french defense. Can you suggest a simple line against KIA vs french

Babe wake up! New Volclus opening dropped
😊😊😊
Good job
Please do every opening ranked, i promise i will watch every one
There's also La Bourdonnais Variation in the French Defense.

8:36 best queen trap😂
Please make a deutz gambit guide
deutz nuts
Bishop b4 is my favorite against knight c3
If you don't like bishop b4 know there are other options if you play knight f6 and they play e5
can you do one on the ruy lopez?
Thks for teaching me
Hi, If I am an attacking player which is best French or Caro Kann.

how convenient I was just starting to learn the french 😂
I'm a chess beginner...please are these sub french defenses or there are just different defenses ?
These are different lines in the same opening French defence
I watched a recent lecture on mccutcheon variation where after queen g4 for white you simply defend the g pawn with your king f8. Maybe you didn’t cover this line because it is too complicated? I watched some GM games on this and it seemed complicated 😂
Can you make video on Nimzo or bogo or Queens Indian pwease 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Rating opening - ruy Lopez please
Ily Voclus 😊
French vs caro kann which is better

Honestly I might like the French More than The Caro Kann so far.
litterally the only thing left it's to explain it in frensh lol
Hah! Didn’t ever cover the Horowitz attack which I play against the French.
caro-kann is better
the french is much better
👍👍
😮😮
hi
🥐🥐🥐
e6 is not a good move lol; I saw a video on how to destroy your opponent as white after the French defense
bruh there are infinite gambits against all the defenses the french is not an exception
A lot of GM play the French but yeah, arbinderkainth9835 is right lol
Can I get pin please 😢
Repent for your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus now he is coming
Can you please do a nimzo indian course?? I'm really struggling with that and i really enjoy it..but im just not very good at the opening.
