- Hello everyone and welcome to my ULTIMATE guide for playing the King's Indian Defense. This is one of black's best openings, and is great for all levels, from beginner to intermediate, to advanced. I cover the theory of all the variations, including the Orthodox, Samisch (and Samisch Gambit), Averbakh, Semi-Averbakh, Four Pawns Attack, and more. just came from school
was waiting for this from the day u have put the community post
thanks for the video
I also came back from school that time. It's restful when Volclus send a video.🙂
It brightens my day.😏
been waiting for this video from you for a while, PLEASE MAKE ONE ON THE KINGS INDIAN ATTACK AS WELL :). I know you already have a short but a more in-depth long one would be nice.
Hey volclus
I would wish if you could make a series on the grünfeld defence, like hanging pawns but more entertaining,
Thank you for your content❤
Hanging pawns is a great chess player and I appreciate the fact that he goes into detail. But sadly, I think we encountered the same problem. I never get to the end of his courses cause I get bored. I feel guilty about it
Most underrated chanel❤
Thanks!
Thank you!
As a D4 main player with 2300 elo, my refutation is opposite side castle (Saemisch variation) against the kings indian defense
Iirc, it is the mainline. Ofc i am nowhere near your elo, but 2100s do know a lil bit of theory these days ☺️
Can you make a video on the grünfeld?
Nice video ❤
I think another good opening to talk about in d4 is the slav (perhaps not the semi-slav but instead the normal slav).
If someone plays d4, just abort and wait for someone to play e4
isnt 1. e4 the only legal move?
@@licha11 There are 20 legal first moves but you will only ever see like 5 of them, and 2 of those are ultra-common… that being E4 and D4
can you make a series on grunfeld defense pls
At 41:52 that position looks a lot like the Benko gambit main line
Pls do one on the catalan
Can you do a course on the queens indian?? Hardly ANYONE has any videos on it.
Check out Hanging Pawns QID theory if you really want to check out that opening
As a 1.d4 player I sometimes struggle when facing the kings indian. Could we get a video from white's perspective as well? Would be much appreciated ❤
Stop playing d4 bozo
At 5:02 what prevents nc3 from taking nd5?
U will win a prolly win a pawn that way, exd5 hangs Be3
Wanted for so long now help us learn the winawer against French
Modern defense pls
Nimzo Indian or dragon sicillian next 🙏🙏
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LETS GO
Volclus looks majestic in the thumbnail. He resembles a King.🤓
This is my powerful weapon.😎
Lets go
I always lose against D4. I get way more wins against E4 (thanks to the Caro-Kann). Just recently started learning this opening and I am getting mixed results but at least I am not losing all the time against D4 like I was before.
Anti-Scandinavian with 3…Qe5+/3…Qe6+ waiting room
i play e4
1:20 e5 is not a threat
Catalan please
Vote for catalan

lieutenant Talis here 🫡
Grünfeld gang
D4 is fine, Nf3 on the other hand is annoying, no real gambits you can prep against it cuz besides herrstrom which is just losing
Thanks🥹
I play d4 as white and I wish people play Nf6 against me, it always leads to imbalanced and interesting games!
Second lol
I’ve watched this twice, you can delete it now thanks
