Lived in Kansas for 16 years and 5 years in MO, and would say Kansas is much better than MO. We hate Jackson County. Missouri okay place to visit, like downtown lights and chiefs, but would not to live in Missouri. Missouri drivers are so different from Kansas.
Evergy is not a problem in my area lived here for 65 years and can maybe count a total of 5 times in my whole life without power - in the house we live in only once was power off for 2 days. 40 years in this house. Not good to paint a picture without all the truth.
I was impressed with your use of data to support your votes, until you got subjective with your desire for an old house in KCMO. Also, your selection of KCMO for the "vibe" was also very subjective. Stick with data/facts, and not your "feelings".
I think that accurate information can take in subjective data points. How people feel in certain areas can play into where they want to live. Thanks for commenting.
Gladstone for 40 years prior to that k c north
How do you enjoy Gladstone? We loved it when we lived there.
KC North is the best area in the metro.
I can see how people would think that!
I suppose most would say Kansas side is better now, since Jackson county government is a total dumpster fire.
I've heard this sentiment. I don't think that's unilateral, but I think people think that for sure.

Thanks for commenting. You can tell the difference between Missouri and Kansas drivers?
@@LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong yes. Missouri drivers are the worst.

Where do you live?
Johnson county Kansas (overland park, Lenexa, Olathe) has more jobs than both KCK and KCMO combined. Not to mention the much higher incomes.
Yes, I know that you're a JoCo homer. I don't disagree with you.

Bpu is bad
I had to deal with them with my Kansas property. I think they were better than Evergy.
