The items are in the shop for 2 points and you get a copy from the tutorials too, they are not in packs. Everything uses Sabrina, so it's worth getting with points points. So Articuno ex, Misty and Giovanni are the only things you get specifically for the deck. You could do it budget by replacing Giovanni with fossils (you get to place the second Articuno earlier, protect the one with low health, and Sabrina doesn't stall you).
@@KyleOnAMission yes, but you're replacing 3-6 cards in a 20 card deck (15% to 30%), as opposed to just 2 (10%), and, aside from the first turn, it will play very differently, as the deck is more than it's first few turns.
this morning i played against a misty articuno user who forfeited when they didn't win turn 1 it was really funny also marcos boosted can i give u my dnite list
I feel their existence is to fuck over the heavy mewtwo meta . I use Mewdevoir because I just...got lucky with the card pulls and they all leaned to that. Only card I had to craft was Sabrina lol. Still ripping mewtwo packs because I want the full art Giovani argh, 3 super special mewtwo cards but no giovani
fun fact Giovanni makes all your attacks do +10 during your turn which means in that game 3 Moxie had a Guaranteed win against that pika deck cuz blizzard would deal -20 to the benched Pokémon killing electrode no matter what
@@nicholasdeluca9688 weakness and damage increases always apply only to the defending Pokémon. Most cards mention it explicitly, but it's basically part of the rules.
The deck isn't as busted as you think. Getting 3 heads is only a 12.5% chance or a 1/8th chance. It loses to my Pikachu EX deck every time. Also since you're running 2 Misty's you have a 10% chance of opening with Articuno EX + Misty. The odds aren't particularly high to pull it off.
The basic ex cards (mostly pika, but mewtwo and the birds to a lesser extent) and misty are overtuned Id like to see some nerfs to those cards, or buffs to cards like brock and genger ex. Either option is fine with me. I just think the basic ex cards are too overturned.
No they’re not, you get 2 prize points for taking out any EX card, I actually think not running a basic ex card is much better, if you are gonna run an EX id go for Machamp or Venasaur or some other ridiculous strong one. Machamp deck is the best I’ve seen imo
@@itsnick37Sure dude. Having a game where you can lose turn 0 is great balance. That really encourages growth of a new game where resources are limited for the f2p players. Awesome ice cold take....
@@JoeybanananasI agree with your post but you sound salty over an extremely gimmicky deck that rarely works. In a game where a loss just means you don't get 15 exp. If youre annoyed about the EX decks don't blame the game, blame the players who have no creativity because they're desperate to be the very best.
@Notmanyusernamesleft What? You chose to read im salty. Idc dude. Agree or dont. Think I'm salty or don't. All I care about is you and everyone else having a good day. So please do what you can on that end
Not really, they're actually fairly balanced. Pikachu EX requires at least 1 additional Electric type on the field to even deal damage. Mewtwo EX is only busted with Gardevoir, which takes 4 turns to set up. Moltres EX is for the most part only used to boost Charizard EX decks, which also take 4 turns to set up. Articuno EX is quite slow if you get unlucky with Misty. Zapdos EX is also quite slow, but it's a good compliment to a Pikachu EX deck. There's no need to nerf them, you're either just salty or don't know how the game works.
the fabled articuno + 18 trainers!
Just got pawned by this shit gameplay 🤬 its only for low skill player 🤦♂️ not fun at all…
Me with misty coin flips: LETS GO GAMBLING!! AW DANG IT!! 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Also I may or may not have rolled 9 heads in a row with Misty while watching this video, thank you Mr. Boosted
TCG Pocket really did become the Duel Links of Pokémon
Moxie boosted EX and Misty would never win before the opponent can play
yoooo i pulled an articuno EX i should try this!
if i had 18 fucking trainer cards

you can also use omastar line, as the fossil doesnt count as a basic pokemon
@@KyleOnAMission You can, but it's a different deck at that point.
@@TheIdentityOfCasnah, you stil start with articuno every time, and you still have the same odds of turn 1 misty

I'm watching not because I like TCG, but because I like supporting Moxie's channel. ✨
Articuno OTK is wild

I been hearing dark teams with koga and alakazam teams have been popping up and doing well lately. Could probably check those decks out

I went against an articuno and starmie team today, they got 0 energy from the first misty and 6 from the second
Love the tgc videos! Wish I was able to read the cards you’re playing properly on my phone though
I've been enjoying a Raichu double Magneton Lt. Surge deck
The full skill deck

Giovanni doesn't effect the damage against benched pokemon. It'd do 10 to electrode.
@ darn I could’ve sworn it did. Sorry for the mis-info 😅

How do you pull all these ex cards?
Dude I just roll tails on my first coin every single time on misty lol
When are you gonna get your own gamersupp flavor!? 😎
I've only got 1 Articuno rn im kinda desperate for either a second or a pair of gardevoirs, they seem like the strongest decks rn
Pulling misty then getting head
I really just wish they would release cards with different abilities, everything is just a recolor of the same thing basically
