Just spent a month in the PI, spent time in Makati, Cebu, Siargao Island, Ozamis and Pagadian.
Cebu was probably the least desirable location due to the traffic and lack of cleanliness outside of IT park.

I've only been here a week in the IT park. Once you go outside the traffic is crazy and it really seems kinda dirty. I may wanna expand around and look at some other areas before I settle in one.

Hey Chris, what's a good income to live comfortably in the Philippines?
Currently 2k and above.
I spilt my time between the USA and Philippines 6 months each. It all depends on where you want to live. Urban areas cost more than the rural ones. However compared to western countries it’s very affordable 👍🏾!

These comments are spot on. Just depends on where but 2-3 k is great and really comfortable 3k and above

Many developments going on in our household. My husband, FIL & BILs decided to sell part of our ranch. We have over 1,000 acres and they decided to sell 550 acres.
We're planning to start ranching in the Philippines. You can't make this up! 😆 Well, that's the idea of the month. Let's see if it'll stick. I think they'll change their minds once we get there and they will feel the hot weather.
I mean, we get hot here in Texas. Last year, we had over 105F for over 4 months with 90% humidity. That's very oppressive. But the heat in the Philippines, I don't know, they'll need to experience it and perhaps they'll change their minds.
