I read that if your thyroid has been damaged by thyroid antibodies it won't be able to process iodine, it will increase inflammation, resulting in more thyroid antibodies being produced. I have Hashimotos/hypothyroidism and my blood test showed slightly raised thyroid antibodies, so I started taking supplements including kelp. My next blood test showed even higher raised thyroid antibodies which confused me but after some research I realised it was because my thyroid had not been able to process the iodine so it increased the inflammation triggering my auto immune system to produce even more thyroid antibodies. People aren't being told this and can accidently make their condition worse.

Thank you for this info. Your videos are so helpful. I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and given a pill for Thyroid Replacement Therapy. I do not want to take meds. Another Dr I follow said that getting the sun pointing at your Thyroid is important for the Vit D. Please advise? Thank you.

Dear do not cry like this. I've had Hashimoto with RA and Psoriasis with multiple autoimmune symptoms for 15+ years now. And I got this all as a very young kid, where it's even difficult to identify my trigger. All I want to say is, it's okay to vent out or feeling like crying but that's not going to help ypu. You need get up & help yourself. Search for some lifestyle changes, fortunately within last 5 years many researches have been made and there are many articles, youtube videos guiding people with autoimmune diseases on what they can do and help themselves relieve their symptoms. So, listen and read all that information and check what works for you the best. Every body is different, what works for one RA person may not work for you, so you'll have to go through trial and error but definitely have higher probability of getting a solution for relieving your symptoms and pain. I'm also working towards it, you do the same, Don't feel bad, okay? I know you can help yourself. :)

I have been treated by many big doctors about this but nothing has helped.:'( I just keep taking big medicine, injection It helps for a while and then I go back to normal. This is why my career life is ruined. It cannot run properly and there is also a problem with the hands. No matter how many treatments I tried, nothing worked. This is just a symptom of the problem.
