- Machine Gun Kelly has truly had a remarkable career up to this point. However, the superstar's latest project 'Tickets To My Downfall' is definitely his best work yet. Why is that? Well, let's just say linking up with Travis Barker and diving into the Pop Punk lane was the right move. The crazy part is, that's not even the biggest W MGK has taken recently (besides Megan Fox of course). The visual album that he not only starred in, directed, and edited, by the name of 'Downfalls High'... is simply genius and may just have changed the game forever.

I love Tickets To My Downfall but I equally love Hotel Diablo.. you have to listen to the album in order, amazing, no skip.

Hotel Diablo was an underrated album man the bars and messages he had in that was pretty deep. I only hated his Binge ep but tickets was a dope album ma I think he should still pursue rap but use tickets to combine with his hip hop to have a hybrid style akin to Linkin Park. He still raps and has a collab album with Trippie coming.🔥🔥🔥
Have you heard Trippes new album Neon Shark? Its a lot like a rock album but still mainly sticks to trippes sound.

I think that this new era of MGK is amazing. I struggle a lot with mental health and just listening to his music helps me get through the day. I genuinely dont know any other artist the has done something that is like downfalls high, although there are probably some out there. I think Downfalls high really helped to elaborate on the story that we know as Tickets To My Downfall. I think that Downfalls high was what he was visualizing when he wrote the songs and produced them. I could be wrong but its fun to think about.
The story was pretty decent (generic but decent) and I like how Mgk integrated his album into the movie. My main problem with it was the writing and acting. For lack of a better word it was cringy af. If he had gotten better actors and a team to edit the script downfalls high could’ve been a masterpiece.

downfalls high is easily one of my favorites movies ever and tickets to my downfall is my 2nd favorite album ever so i love that u made a video on it but i’d have to disagree with the lil huddy point, i think he did very well in downfalls high

He’s always had a love for it just wasn’t able to go through with it until now. I still love his old music I like his new music

The airplane scene in Downfalls High wasn't scripted. They didn't want to mess up the shot but an airplane flew over, so they kind of had to improv for that part.

I was never really a rap/hiphop fan so mgks stuff never interested me. I actually started following him because I just thought he was cool and (unpopular opinion) enjoyed his acting stuff lol. I'm not even a hardcore rock fan nor did I grow up with bands like Blink 182, but still the album reminded me of the rock music I did listen to growing up and made me want to listen to it all again. As for his music video/movie, Chase's acting had me laughing at times but I also agree that he somehow just fit the character perfectly. I hope to see more stuff like this from mgk and perhaps other artist 😁

2:57 aw dude, this isn't poor dialogue, at least the way I saw it. This is one of my favourite parts of the movie. After this, Kells says "what the fck?" From the BV song and to me it utterly captures how when you are a dumb teenager, you'll say anything to get your crush interested in you and be agreeable so you seem super awesome to them. this is exactly what happens here. Feonix asks the girl a dumb question "do you like aeroplanes" and cos she doesn't, he says he doesn't either. If Scarlett had said she does, you can bet your bottom dollar our boy would have said he does too.
This is my favourite part omg this isn't dumb dialogue it's actually quite clever and accurate to love-sick teenage mindset.
