I’ve been a fan since around 2013 as well. I think Baddest was the first song I ever heard and the one that made me a fan which I guess says a lot about me with how explicit it is 😂
First I heard of him was when he did alone with sleeping with sirens. I then fell down a rabbit hole from swing life away (ft Kellin Quinn) and have been a fan since.
I know him from Wild Boy..it was everywhere. He was always popular tbh ..he's just mainstream now. He wasn't some underground unknown dude that got famous out of nowhere.

I’ve been a bit of a MGK Stan for a while now coz of his music and how he seems to be such a nice guy, but this vid just sent me right over the edge. The way he is with kids is so unbelievably sweet. My brother is scared of my obsession
Tbh while I absolutely love his music and still really like him I was really disappointed the only time I saw him live. It was way back with Linkin Park (RIP :/) as the headliners maybe like 3 or 4 years ago and it was obvious during the day that everyone only came for Linkin Park (I also wanted to see MGK tbh) and because it was rock concert he had worse atmosphere than he expected so he was angry the whole time and then left during song and didnt even finish his full set. He was my most listened artist in 2020 but this still leaves a sour taste for me.
Well maybe, if it was where he was booed off, it was more self-protection and reflection.....like I honestly wouldn't know who wouldn't be slightly triggered by that stuff?
