One thing you should *never* feel guilty about buying an abundancy of is books. I think it's one of the most important things you can buy that's not technically a necessity.

I CAN’T STAND the book of the month logo on the hardcovers. I don’t know why it bothers me so much. It doesn’t seem to bother anybody else. But it’s like people leaving my bedroom room open, it just leaves me peeved.
I personally love when booktubers begin reading with no prior knowledge of the plot or major themes of their books, because in the future when you post your reading vlogs and monthly wrap up videos you're able to give your honest opinions and reactions to what you've read!! you've helped me rediscover my love for "reading blind" as my dad says, which is when you pick up books simply because of the cover or recommendations from others and just go for it
I don’t know what I love more, Noelle’s intense love for books or the fact she nearly suffered heatstroke at the hands of a striped flannel just to have that cozy, stripy, comfy, aesthetic. 😂 Can you do a “most-anticipated reads” video soon? With the upcoming release of Midnight Sun and Ready Player Two, I’d be really interested in what else would make the list!
I would highly recommend a book called "Feminism Interrupted: Disrupting Power" by Lola Olufemi. It is kind of like a simple introductory book to radical feminism, and tries to push away from liberal white feminism. It's only 150 pages long, but still provides a good basis to understanding radical feminist thought, and to make your feminism more meaningful. (I was able to access it for free through JSTOR using my university log-in, otherwise I think you'd have to buy it, but it's quite inexpensive and would be good to support the author 😊)

There are so many of these on this list that I've read this year and loved! I will echo others in saying - Queenie is amazing!!! I just read Hood Feminism and it was very eye opening. Bunny is so WTF. The Kiss Quotient is adorable. I haven't read it but my friend really enjoyed How To Do Nothing. Great haul!
Jenny Odell also has a speech talking about the concept of how to do nothing as well! One of my professors had us watch it for homework this past semester (before the pandemic) and it was wonderful. Can't wait to read the book.
