Kangals are some of the best dogs when they are well trained and given appropriate direction. Had the privilege of living with one who was a livestock guardian dog. He made me feel like a disney princess because for some reason he absolutely adored me, so much so he’d occasionally try (unsuccessfully) to ignore his owners commands in favor of cuddling and walking with me. He walked with me with his head against my legs. And whenever his partner guardian dog (very sweet samoyed who just got a little too excited) would overpower me or start to knock me over with jumping he’d immediately put himself between us and gently muscle her away without me or anyone else cuing him to. Loves them both but Kangals definitely have a new place in my heart🐶
