From the very beginning of the video, I was getting a feeling that the boss was even more evil than the investor. Had Frank been a genuine person, he would have clarified it to the investor that the one he thinks to be a waiter is actually a genius IT guy but it turned out that the boss was more interested in greasing the palm of the seemingly racist investor. However, it was good to see justice being served at the end 📻
This is the kind of thinking that's actually out there, it doesn't matter if the boss is worst than the investor, what matters is the way most white people view us blacks, and it's real !!! But ..."we shall overcome"!!
Thank you for this honest vide, it brought me to tears. As a career driven black woman I go through this often with a lot of micro aggressions. Thank you for expanding the awareness; most people don’t know what they do. The manager character in the video was unaware he was a racist; as he was going with the flow of the investor. Ironically a lot of managers do not have a backbone to speak up and have a voice of their own. They play it safe for their benefit.
My concern is Phil, that he has such a low value of himself to be manipulated that way...now even in the future his new boss will know he's easy to control. This is a tale of self worth to me.
A lot of the time tech guys are very intelligent, but don’t have great social skills. So this is a kinda ridiculous scenario, but in real life a coder would probably would try to avoid conflict with the investor.
I love the trap the investor set to test his character and integrity. Although this had a good ending, the opening scene reminds me of something that happened to me. My son attended a prestigious private school and graduated high school this year. A post-graduation luncheon was held at a nearby country club. I consider myself a relatively unassuming brown skinned middle-aged man of African American and Asian heritage, and dressed accordingly for the occasion in a nice suit. Walking through the dining area I was stopped by a woman who was seated at a table I was passing, and she asked me if I could bring more drinks to her table full of guests. Her husband glared at her coldly, squeezed her arm and said “No.” She started to say something to him and he shook his head and repeated “No!” He obviously recognized me as a parent of a graduate (my son being the only brown-skinned kid in his graduating class) and tried to squash the situation before I had an opportunity to let her know that I was not a member of the club’s wait staff. I simply smiled and walked away. A similar incident occurred when I was working in Washington DC. I was standing outside a hotel in the valet area when a guy approached me and ask me if I was going to load his bags in the shuttle.
This video touched me with tears. I wish we can respect each other and work together as a team to build America for what it really is. There's no color for the gifted and talented 💪🏾💯
I was in the medical field for over 17 years. I was in charge of the MS center in Southern California. Every time my doctor had talks or we had to travel to present people (white folks) would see me and right away since I’m Mexican I could see how they would talk to me or give me orders. As soon as my doctor would tell him I was in charge of the office I can see how they would treat me differently. Sad world.
I don't know why but I have known multiple people that have had problems in Southern California. I have friends and people that I have worked with refuse to sell over there much less even truck over there. And after a few of my own personal experiences I understand why people are moving their companies elsewhere.

This video was very hard to watch because it strikes close to home. It brings back memories right after graduating from college as an undergraduate, I am walking down the street and these people were all clustered around a Toyota Camery. One of them see me and yells out, "there is a Jap. Those guys knows how to fix the car." Another one yells, "yeah, the slant eyes know how to fix these cars, it is in their blood." So, I walk over and tell them to try to turn the engine over. So there is a woman in the drivers seat and she tries to crank the engine and it sounded like it was flooded with gas. I told them that they needed to hold the butterfly open and get air into the engine. They said more racial slurs and they wanted me to get my hands dirty and do it for them. So I opened up the carburetor and I find there is no butterfly. So, I started disassembling the carburetor and after removing all these parts, I realized it was a fuel injection system. At that point, I handed the screw driver to the nearest racist and told him they would have to call a tow truck, because it was a fuel injection carburetor. As I looked back, they were still scratching their heads trying to figure out what to do next. After all the racial slurs, I did not feel bad in the least.

Unfortunately racism doesn't have place in society but it is a part of society unfortunately there are ignorant people who believe the certain people of a certain race or a certain ethnic group or lower than them therefore believe they should be treated as such!
This happens even amongst blacks... I've been in a company where I was treated differently cuz I wasn't from same tribe as them... So you see... It's not just about being a black or not .. We all have been treated differently cuz of one thing or the other... It could be because of tribe, religion, belief, class, etc... The whole world needs to be sensitized on this issue... Ones ability or capability has nothing to do with all of these...
Except the boss was literally using a strategy so both would not be broke? And he could easily arrange another contract with Phil to split his own 50% into halves. If anyone was slimy and dishonest, it was the investor who knew he had the power to leave them broke when doing that ‘test’.
Yea i was wondering why did the boss treat him so poorly, and suddenly take a 180 like nothing. I wouldn't trust him at all after what he did. If theres a part 2 of this i can understand theyre probably setting things up from here. But if this is the whole story with no continuation then the lesson here is to not trust these kinds of people who just have no respect like that
It is wonderful to see people who try to get over on others trip themselves up, especially racists. Although it is true, that we do not glory in the destruction of such people, there’s a satisfaction felt.
Man am I the only one who doesn’t think racism is any worse than any other form of hatred? Some people hate women, some people hate other nations, some people hate other skin colors, some people hate everyone and will look for an excuse to hate someone based on any criteria they can find. I don’t really get why people act like out of all the things you can hate, hating someone based on their race is somehow worse than the other ones. Seems ignorant to me.
The sad and funny thing is the boss was trying his hardest to seal the deal, we actually don't even know if he was gonna split his share of the money/keep Phill employed.
I can only dream that my boss actually gives credit to me for conceptualising our project instead of claiming everything is his vision, whilst I thought this video was twee. It may just have motivated me to hand in my notice.
Perfect example of why you should treat people with respect. That would be crazy if you found out that this was his boss or CEO of the company he works for have some respect for yourself that makes it easy to have some respect for others
Why is this so hard to understand.. when you were in elementary through Junior high and high school you was told to do your homework all the time if you had the type of parents I had. When it comes to people when did that stop applying. For to not assume is to get the best respect our people you first meet. Irregardless of what race were who they are is because the way that you want to be treated as the way you treat others. Come off with respect first! Assumption later! Keeps you from looking like and feeling foolish!
I once wrote a letter to the CEO of the company i was working for..He taught was somenoe in management ..But i was a humble bottom of the ladder employee.. It told me that he taught no one was intellegent enough at the lower level to have written it..I felt mixed emotions bad and proud..
What they need to stop doing is portraying Black men like they can't stand up for themselves. The mere fact that he actually went along with posing as a waiter and didn't tell his "partner" to go kick rocks when he proposed the White waiter to pose as him is insulting.
Many years ago, my family attended the Danny Thomas celebrity dinner in Beverly Hills. Muhammad Ali mistakenly thought my brother was the waiter. So my brother just laughed it off and said ” Hey, man, this was the best suit I could afford. They had a good laugh.
I have been asked if I worked in a store before. I just tell people no I dont work here. Sometimes, it is plain as day I don't work there because the workers are all in uniform. This is when I was younger. Hasn't happened in years. However many years ago a Funny thing happened to me and my friend. We were shopping for a Blazer for her husband. But she wasnt sure if it would fit him, so we looked around to see if there was a man with a similar build we could ask to try it on. We saw this White Man and said, "Excuse me, sir," before we could finish the sentence. He got all offended saying, "Do I look like I work here" and he walked off, looking quite annoyed. She just ended up buying it and said if it does not fit she will bring it back.

How are they educating the behave worse? Being calm and racist is bad.
So you want the Jim Crow status quo, huh?
Don't assume someone working as a waiter, just because they're wearing something that is not in work uniform.
He and the white guy are wearing the SAME clothes...
What a powerful story. Happens all the time
If I was the brother, I'll walk !
That was quite the plot twist. I didn’t see the twist coming, I’m usually keen on it. Good job
Awesome video once again. It feels like I watched a whole movie.
You guys are amazing !! ❤❤❤
We try very hard to at least slightly change the situation that has developed in our world, and to explain that we are all the same!❤️
@@DramatizeMe good job!!👍👍 Keep it up!!
Tribe?
This video is about a black person. I'm not sure why you felt the need to make this about everyone else.
@@deamorebeaute2412So, what why can't she comment her problem that relates to the video in a way?
Well done, all! I liked the second twist at the end...another nice script!
Always nice to see you write. It makes my day. Stay well!
As a world that is changing, and as a black man, I would tell both of them to get lost.
Nice! 3 twists in 1 story! Kudos!!
I think Phil should continue looking for investors who are both reputable and (humane) respectful. I don't trust either one of them.
Except the boss was literally using a strategy so both would not be broke? And he could easily arrange another contract with Phil to split his own 50% into halves. If anyone was slimy and dishonest, it was the investor who knew he had the power to leave them broke when doing that ‘test’.
Well said, I was thinking the same.
🤡
"I never did give them hell. I just told the truth, and they thought it was hell."
-Harry S. Truman
Holy smokes, now that's a twist. Thinkin the boss is the good guy, when the real good guy is just acting the bad guy. Nice one!
I thought the same
Yea i was wondering why did the boss treat him so poorly, and suddenly take a 180 like nothing. I wouldn't trust him at all after what he did. If theres a part 2 of this i can understand theyre probably setting things up from here. But if this is the whole story with no continuation then the lesson here is to not trust these kinds of people who just have no respect like that
That ending caught me completely off guard.
One time was enough for me. Started off on my own
Perfect example of why you should treat people with respect.
Great storyline. What the boss did to Phil what is inexcusable
I once wrote a letter to the CEO of the company i was working for..He taught was somenoe in management ..But i was a humble bottom of the ladder employee.. It told me that he taught no one was intellegent enough at the lower level to have written it..I felt mixed emotions bad and proud..
This is a fantastic story. I guess the twist was that someone acted this way for a long time for money.
Actor Frank ...he deserves to be an movie actor. His body language is amazing.
What they need to stop doing is portraying Black men like they can't stand up for themselves. The mere fact that he actually went along with posing as a waiter and didn't tell his "partner" to go kick rocks when he proposed the White waiter to pose as him is insulting.
You're missing the point
Many years ago, my family attended the Danny Thomas celebrity dinner in Beverly Hills. Muhammad Ali mistakenly thought my brother was the waiter. So my brother just laughed it off and said ” Hey, man, this was the best suit I could afford. They had a good laugh.
The way this sent me through all of the emotions!!! 😅😅😅
I really love this Black Guy.He is looking so handsome and gentle
He's hot.
Unknowingly you also made a racist remark , you can mention by the character's name which is Phil not by his color 'Black'
I am a UI/UX Designer I have been searching for international job as an intern but because of i am a black, i haven't gotten any since this year. I really need this job, i have 2 years of experience. I have worked on 2 live projects.
That was a nice twist. Brought my anxiety down and everything. 🥴🙂
@0:19 - 0:20, it's not that he doesn't want to be a waiter. he's NOT a waiter. he's a customer/patron like you at the restaurant.
Straight sucked in... Thanks for this 🙏🏽😌
What a turn, at the end.. I was so upset through our this video.. didn't know, the one man was testing the other.
Respect. This video is an excellent dramatization of reality. Thanks for sharing.
That was lovely Gary and team may you all have a lovely evening enjoy
They often think we can't right codes or do maths just because they think we are "black." Nice video tbis will motivate me to even write more code... I am saving this video for reference never to give up!
Randomly popped up on me but I loved this short film I appreciate the accents and the whole script…. Maybe I’ll even subscribe!! Thank you
Thanks, @quediscoveries6348, for taking time to watch and leave a comment.💕 We would be glad to see you here as a part of our community 😇😇😇
This is why I love working from home in IT 😂
I have no clue how people could even get the audacity to be rude and blatantly disrespectful with the people that handle their food 😭
The food, retail and
hospitality industry has some of the worst customers on the planet.
Remember that when you hear about a shortage of workers
Blacks are still behind and still look for whites hit me hard 😢😢😢😢you played with my feelings 😢😢
Forgive the guilty people but don't trust them and don't be too polite being a boss
Hey, Mr. Garry, thank you for all of your amazing videos! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Lmao I’m in IT and I find the “C two crosses” funny
It's c plus plus
That is a problem with some people their stereotypes are so serious that they live in their own dream world!😂😂
Oh wow. What a flip ! Here we thought the other guy was racist and it was that guy all along
That plot twist at the end caught me off guard! Nice story!
This is an epic video. ❤
*Thankfully, there are still many who see all people as individuals and as a part of the one precious human race.*
The twisted ending...
Great work, DramatizeMe, your episodes shall be an inspiration to everyone 🤘
That haircut was all the information i needed
Very satisfying twist to the end!! Why racist want to remain on the losing end of life I’ll never understand!!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤❤❤
I experienced racism so much in the last 2 years more than I did my entire life and it changed me. I hate how random it is. Some people know how to cope with the racism some Witty jokes back. Well I’m not like that I’m deeply affected and angered.
Same way ❤I feel you but they tell us to just deal with it and move on lol Nawl I’m gonna make you feel uncomfortable because you make it a priority to make me feel the same way and worst
Wow this was really great!
Plot Twist: Phil is prejudiced against Hispanics and stole the code from a coworker named Jose😂
Great video mr. Goodman was a good man after all I honestly didn't see that coming and the message is obviously is not only to recognize talent in people regardless of their race and exploiting somebody is wrong he told that racist he was going to Zuckerberg him and he didn't hesitate to do it can you believe that
Honestly looked like he was acting it out to help his friend
C and two crosses. Lol. Pmsl. That really made me laugh. Great video again DramatizeMe! And a very valuable lesson about racism too. 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏❤
These videos of race discrimination are lessons for racist to learn that racism will not be tolerated in this world. DramatizeMe team ❤👍🏼
I love this plot but most importantly I love that his name was Phill and the waiter was Collin❤❤😂😂😂😂 Phil Collin
Let’s be real. He’s investing $1 million dollars, of course he was going to do some extensive research. He wasn’t going to just give out that amount of money for fun. I love the plot twist.
“When dealing with people, let us remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity.” -Dale Carnegie
